Warranty Claim for 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan purchased 2/26/25 I am filing a complaint against Fearless Motor Sports for failing to honor their 45-day/1,500-mile warranty on my 2014 Dodge Grand ********** purchase, I was assured all systems were functional or would be fixed under warranty, specifically the catalytic converter, A/C, and passenger door features.Despite multiple return visits, Fearless Motor Sports failed to properly repair:- Check engine light/catalytic converter issues - Non-functioning rear heat - Inoperable passenger door window and lock mechanism When I expressed concerns, ***** dismissed them, saying "just keep driving the van, it will go off, everything is fixed and safe."An independent inspection on 3/18/25 by Monkey Wrench Auto revealed numerous serious issues:- Multiple engine codes in almost every module - Broken engine/transmission mounts - Leaking struts - Corroded battery - Low/dirty fluids - Potential transmission leaks When presented with these findings, ***** refused warranty service, stating "if you wanted a perfect van, you should have known what you were getting."I request Fearless Motor Sports either:1. Refund my full purchase price, OR 2. Properly repair all warranty-covered issues at no cost This vehicle is unsafe for my family as currently maintained. I've attempted multiple times to resolve this issue but have been consistently dismissed.Business Response

On May 30, 2024, we helped my 16 year old son purchase his first car. We found a car that he really liked from Fearless Motor Sports. We have owned the car for 4 months and have had nothing but problems. About a month and a half into owning the car, it was struggling to start. We contacted Fearless Motor Sports. They said "Oh, the grey ****** That's a good little car." They offered to "look" at the car, but they were going to charge us for the repairs. We ended up going to a mechanic to have the starter replaced instead. Less than two weeks later, the transmission is having issues. The car forces you into different gears. The transmission light is now on, along with the AT light. I took the car to a mechanic to have them look at it. Our transmission is bad. The transmission fluid in the car was black and burned. Again, we called the dealership to complain. It took countless calls before we were even able to get in touch with someone. Finally I got in touch with *****. He said it wasn't up to them to change transmission oil. In fact, he said it wasn't good for the car. I explained everything that was happening with the car, obviously frustrated. He was rude and condescending. ***** said that they would not be doing anything for free to a car that we purchased 4 months ago. They wouldn't even offer to look at this car. This is hard earned money of a 16 year old boy and they literally ripped us off. They took $5000 from a kid.Business Response

We spoke with ***** yesterday regarding this vehicle and set an appointment to have the vehicle inspected. She was upset and after explaining to her that we were there to help that she received a discount on service through us , we would have the service shop diagnose her problem. The car does not have an extended warranty they have purchased, however they do receive a significant discount. It sounds like regular maintenance is needed but until actually seeing the vehicle there is no further action or decisions we can make.Customer Answer

upon taking this to another mechanic, I was told that the transmission is, in fact, bad. The mechanic said that regular maintenance will not solve issues with a transmission solenoid code for the transmission. Trying to dig in to this car is going to result in extra money to wind up at the same end result.Business Response
Date: 10/10/2024
there is many things that will cause this code, including dirty fluid, nothing else can be done until the vehicle is brought in for inspection.Customer Answer
Date: 10/11/2024
The transmission shop has discovered multiple errors in this cars system. Each code revolves around communication with the transmission. They said transmission fluid was poured into the car to make it appear that it shifts correctly. Repairs are now estimated at $8000. If this car was, in fact, tampered with like they suspect, I definitely will not be bringing it in to have it looked at.
My teenage son used his own hard earned money to buy this car. He is out $5000 and winds up with no car in this whole situation.

GOT SCAMMED OUT OF MY $ 2016 Dodge Caravan With ****** miles for $7160.00 Cash After 28 day And Those 28 Mostly Parked from buying this van driving it 3 times BROKE DOWN *I had A Mechanic Come To Take A look And Told Me It Had A ********* Due To Sent me pictures and video of rust on motor where the water had been leaking for a long time His Advice Was To Get it Back To Dealer Who Sold It To Me... On 09/26/24 Got a Report from Fearless motor that it needed an engine oil filter housing and the cost would be $710.00 That A Rock hit it and made a hole in it and that is what is causing all the water to run out . But he **************** is Good Said it to me over 4 time the Motor is Good . Yet Without Repairing the engine oil filter where all the water is leaking from They could not preform an accurate block test so stating that the engine was good was a false statement . Towed To New Shop On 09/26/2024 *********************** They Preformed a VERY *************************************** Filter Housing and in Order to do that Correct Diagnostic It Had To be Replaced in order to get correct DX ********************************* Cooling System Repair Engine Block Test Failed After Cooling System Was Sealed and Coolant Was Added Back To Vehicle A Block Test Was preformed . That Test Revealed Hydrocarbons in the Coolant and Warp Head . Was Advised Not to put any more $ into this van I had it towed home for the last time on 10/02/2024.Business Response

We have been in contact with ****** in regards to this vehicle.. it came with a warranty on motor and transmission that covers mechanical failure for 45 days or 1500 miles. We were contacted about this vehicle 40 days after purchase.
The only thing that voids that warranty is overheating the vehicle. When it was towed in, the tow truck driver started the vehicle and drove it off, but said it was low on coolant. We found a crack in the oil filter housing that was leaking large amount of water out and informed the customer of the needed repair. There was no way the vehicle would have been able to drive out of the dealership before her purchase of the vehicle with the hole in the housing , it was not pre-existing.
We advised that as long as she had pulled over immediately and caused no damage to the motor by driving it hot that she should be ok. We offered her a discount on the service that she also recieved with purchase. She declined, and opted to have it towed somewhere else.
We have been in contact with that facility and were informed that after doing the repair the vehicle would run fine but that the vehicle has indeed been overheated and has caused some warpage to the engine and would like need a head gasket as well. We spoke with ******, informed her the warranty was voided due to overheating but that we would give her an additional discount on the repair as a sign of goodwill. The discount would be 45% total. The customer has refused at this time. Unfortunately the warranty does not include a vehicle being overheated by the customer.

There is no way to patch or do what is claimed here . The vehicle was driven off the lot and used for thirty days .. it then had a housing failure that occurred a crack and lost all of its coolant. A fairly small repair. However due to the vehicle continuing to be driven it overheated is the only thing that voids our warranties. We have offered to discount and cover half the repair. If needed we can even set up payment arrangements. But we can not cover the total repair . this is do to your warranty being voided. We are offering to cover half as a sign of goodwill. Unfortunately we arent able to do more.Customer Answer

I purchased a Dodge Avenger 2013 from this business on 02/27/23 for a total of $7338.50 which includes price of the Vehicle $6500.00, Sales Tax $578.50, and T &Title Fee $260.00. This included a ****-mile or 45 days on engine and transmission warranty, towing. Car overheated on 03/25/23, was told by ****** to drive car over to their shop & if it didn't make it to call him, he would arrange for pick up; vehicle broke down 3 quarters of the way. Car was not picked up until 5 hours later, I waited w/ my car bc I was told to leave the car there and place key in car. (I would not do so, feared theft) Was w/out a vehicle for 11 days. On 04/14/23 completed my final payment, was told car included emissions testing, tags, and plates and would receive in the mail in 30 days. 2nd breakdown was 04/30/23 car went dead, called ****** and he had car picked up at my house by ******************* truck employee, on 05/01/23. On 05/05/23 sent ****** a text for an update as he had initially told me it was just the starter, he then stated that vehicle was being taken to emissions and he would call me when ready (I was confused as i thought this had already been done). When I get there ****** stated that the emissions testing was not done, however he got me30 more days on my tags, and I was to go back there once more during the week so that they could take my car to "special emissions testing". He also had an invoice ready for me of $934, charging me for towing, starter repair, and labor? This car has been in the shop for a total of ******************* about 600$ expenses for towing, repairs, and alternate transportation. Disappointed with service provided, was guaranteed a car in great condition, w/ a car fax reporting only 2 repairs, and honest transaction. I previously disclosed to owners past experiences where I have been taken advantage of when purchasing cars, my financial situation, & having a special needs child. This has been so stressful for my family and I. Please do the right thingBusiness Response

I came to this shop early October of 2022 with some issues that needed to be fixed for my **** ***** element. 2 of those issue are still prevalent today, and seemingly were not fixed at all to begin with. The shop did not provide before or after photos to prove that the work was complete or needed to be done to begin with. Those 2 issues cost in total $424.82 were to replace the water pump and ************** Seal R&R (Front) Includes: The removal and installation of trans and all necessary components for access. Does not include: System diagnosis, testing, or a vehicle road test. The symptom of the issue was a squealing drive belt which was getting soaked by the oil and water from the leak points that were diagnosed above. After the "installations" the car still had issues and squealing but, the shop owner and tech convinced me it was just a bad belt, which was replaced and the issue did not correct.I took my car to a reputable shop which had informed me today (3/6/2023) that I needed to replace the water pump and ************** Seal (Front). They also informed me that the leaks had ruined the serpentine belt as well.I also took my vehicle in on a separate date (in Nov.20th) to install new plastics and struts, the fender plastics were improperly installed, which I communicated to the shop owner (on Jan 22 2023) that they had been severely damaged due to this mistake, he took no corrective actions. The cost of those fenders was $32.50 - taxes, and the install was estimated at .5 hours which was equal to $60.00. In total, $517.32 - minus taxes was spent on faulty work. I feel that I have been taken advantage of and I fear bringing my vehicle back to Fearless motorsports.Business Response

we have already reached out to the customer and resolved the matter. we informed him that if he had a part failure that the appropriate steps for us would be a labor claim with the supplier of the parts. in this case its parts authority. the customer will bring in the prts so we can file a labor claim on his behalf and get the matter resolved,
