      Worst internet service I have ever had by far. I have had Sparklight for 3 weeks and my internet drops 5-10 times daily. I have called tech support and remained on hold from 30min. To one hour almost daily with no answer. They are charging as much as att does for fiber. Their system is outdated. At least att didn't have service issues.

      I would leave zero stars if I could. This company does nothing but lie. Signed up for new services in July 2025. I left my previous internet provider for cheaper rates. They told me my bill would be $48.17 monthly for a year with a one time payment of ***** for the first month. Every single time I have called up there my rates has change increasing higher and higher. I had to asked one of the *** to notate my account because of all of the lies that have been told. This time they told me my rates will go up every three months. Stay away from Sparklight the internet is okay but the lies they tell you about your rates will have you paying more than what you agreed to. They tell you anything to get you as a customer but will not honored what you and Sparklight agreed too.

      I would leave a negative stars of if I could. Their employees are big liars. Im filing this complaint due to repeated issues with Sparklight's internet service and poor customer support. There have been several service outages and issues with their payment system, which resulted in loss of internet access. These outages have occurred on multiple occasions, causing major inconvenience despite paying for what should be reliable, consistent service.Most recently, there was another outage caused by Sparklights own system issues. When I reached out for a credit, I was only offered $4, which is an unreasonable and unacceptable gesture considering the cost of their service and the inconvenience caused. As a paying customer who spends hundreds to thousands annually, I expect better treatment and accountability.Desired Resolution:I am requesting a more reasonable credit to reflect the full impact of the outage. I also ask that Sparklight improve how they address service disruptions and compensate customers when the issues stem from their end.

      I switched from Sparklight to TDS over a year ago. I had to call to make my final payment back then. I recently was made aware that they had sent me to collection over $39 at the beginning of July 2025. So I called in and they took my payment information. I just received an email saying something went wrong with an update of their accounting software and that the last transaction on some accounts were showing up reversed. I called today, a human put me on hold for the accounting department, and the on hold would only loop 20 mins before it hung up on me. There service was ****, and overpriced. Their customer service is still c*** I had the bank reverse the charge. Whatever.

      I would leave ZERO stars if possible. The internet drops CONSTANTLY! Service calls have NO CONFIRMATIONS! NO REMINDERS! NO FOLLOW UP! NO COMMUNICATION! They simply show up (UNCONFIRMED AND NO COMMUNICATION!) and leave a note! The technician SAYS they messaged and called, but....WEIRD....NO CALL OR MESSAGE BEFORE ARRIVAL!!!! DO NOT GET SPARKLIGHT!!!!! Save yourself some FRUSTRATION!!!!!

      This company has taken over ******* and has now doubled their prices. This is unfair and u just and I highly recommend you never use their service. **************** is unforgiving and doesn't ever care who they are working for. I have friend that have not had service for 3 weeks due to THEIR difficulties and they are still billing them for FULL service. What a tragic difficult company!!

      New modem and router are awful! My old router quit working so I stayed on the phone with tech support for over 2 hours, and was finally told I had to drive 70 miles to a SPARKLIGHT center and they were closing on two hours. Had to give them the old modem and pick up a new modem plus a router (they said I had to have two components to replace my old modem). Took me 3 days to get a field tech to install the new router. It had only ONE outlet where my old modem had 4!! So now I cant hook my tv up to streaming channels any longer. Every thing in my house operates off my WiFi. After installing the new setup, now almost nothing works! Lost two cameras on my security system! Printer wont work, ****** home wont work, lights wont work, it killed one of my ROKU cameras, killed my ting home protection device. I am trying to get customer service but after waiting 30 minutes, I finally gave up. **************** is horrible!! I wish I could switch to another company!! When you do get someone on the phone, theyre from *********** and cant speak English very well and I couldnt understand them and they couldnt understand me!!Truly awful experience with this company!! I do not recommend them to anyone!!

      Sparklight,has been down 4 times with the 5th outage, 7+ hrs during peak business hours. My wife works from home. From 6:45 AM to 1:55 internet was down. Had to go to ******* and buy 5G internet to ensure primary internet so my wife could work. Wow? 99.9% Sparklight up time and no customer service, no one to contact only recordings, and no compensation for lost time I paid for, and no heads up or eta's via text. what a laugh!!!!! If there was a better solution I would take it. I ran an IT network for the government for for 39 years with better service and customer notification. ********************** fails miserably, but who in Star ID has any choice? It's like our politics pick the best of the worst. We did not even get compensation for lack of service which we paid for! ******* is not the optimal solution, but a primary for my wife to work and sparklight is a backup because you can't count on Sparklight for work. This is foolishness and poor customer service to the max!!! Talk about monopoly. Century link..... A less tenable option or sparklight? Humm? No choice if you work from home. I pay two times the price to ensure internet connectivity......... Anyone else tired of the foolishness???? We should always get what we paid for .... or at least consideration, notification, and conpensation for services NOT RENDERED!!!!

      Sparklight is the only provider in our area and we have lost service 2 times on sunny days for most of the day with zero warning. **************** is horrendous as they have long wait times and 0 answers. Someones working on it meanwhile my neighbor 5 houses down has perfect service. I wish someone else would provide internet to take business away from them because this is TERRIBLE service. We are signed up for alerts and work from home theres been no one here and no communication beside us contacting them.
