      You are correct I did not state what location, the ******* location off of *********** and Northern. The fact that you are lying on behalf of your establishment, your faculty and your students. Its horrible. As if I was not the one under the dryer, I seen no instructors out on the floor until my stylist went to complain that I was so hot.

      In response to this complaint, we are unsure of which location she is speaking of. As the owner, I visit each school each week and none of the ** units were out and we keep the temp at 77 degrees. In the occasion an a unit goes out which during the hot days of summer can happen, it is usually repaired within 3 business days. This is the first complaint that we have heard of. This does not mention location or dates of her service. All I can state is we keep the air at a comfortable 77 and we have no current issues.

      I have owned TSAOB for 18 years. We have always taken care of our students and staff. I was there Tuesday. I found out that the air went out Wed. The AC people were called and it was fixed Friday. These things happen and we correct them in a timely manner. This case is closed.

      Ive been going to this school since June 2023 and since being enrolled it has been an unorganized mess. They are completely understaffed for the night classes and will make up a new rule every day. As they are supposed to be licensed professionals this school is ran and taught by people who dont actually know how to teach or speak to their students appropriately. The night schedule isnt even on track to learn new skills as they should and we get told to do things by one teacher just to be yelled at by another. They offer a Saturday program that isnt offered to everyone because its first come first serve yet the list fills up before the late night classes can sign up.

      The Studio Academy of Beauty has been licensed by the state for 17 years and accredited to provide education in cosmetology and esthetics. Each year we are inspected and audited and we pass with high marks. Our yearly outcomes of graduation and placement rate indicate the success of our program. Our advisory board who meets twice a year provide feedback to us on current trends we need to possibly add. Our Saturday schedule is for day students. The student filing the compliant is a night student. She has missed night school and therefore is trying to makeup hours. The school does not have to provide makeup hours but we do allow night students makeup hours on a first come first serve basis as it is outside their schedule on a Saturday. They do assignments based on what the day teacher directs. All our educators are licensed by the state to be educators by passing extra exams to indicate their ability and knowledge in their respective areas. Our school director is also a licensed professional and licensed educator who has years of experience in management. They are all qualified for their positions.

      I'm currently a student at this location and today 6-6-23 I witnessed an African ******** student being discriminated by several instructors and put to public shame. there was an altercation between 2 students in which one who is Hispanic offended the African ******** one and insulted her culture. No teachers were present during the exchange of insults, but they sided with the Hispanic student because the African ******** is "too loud" and they kicked out only one student without hearing her side of the story of what happened. This is not the first time this particular student gets discriminated by others and no employees at the studio take it seriously or does a thing about the situation. It has gotten to the point beauty schoolteachers don't care to show their dislike for African ********* and I'm appalled. I'm Hispanic myself and I'm disgusted with the treatment this poor girl received. This school needs to be investigated.

      Thank you for the information. The person who submitted this complaint has some wrong information. There were two girls who had a personal disagreement and altercation in a classroom. We have video of the incident. The one student who reacted aggressively was asked to leave for the night as other students felt threatened. No student was terminated. We investigated the incident the next day. All staff and students who were involved were talked too and we are using this situation as a learning moment for all involved. No racism or discrimination took place. Both students are invited to still attend school. We have a diverse group of students and staff and we welcome all who want to work at the school or attend.
