    Applied Hearing Solutions website ***************************************************************************************** discusses the advantages of real ear measurements (***) and the programing of your, already owned, hearing aids.I called to make an appointment for *** and programing, noting I was out of state and traveling specifically for this. My appointment was 12/3/24, with Dr. ****** ********. During our initial introductory discussion, I noted I was there for the *** and programing and she indicated we would get to that later. A number of times during the testing that she indicated I had to do so she could complete an analysis, I said I was only there for the *** and programing. After many requests for the *** she finally did the test, then indicated that the programing was not a one time thing but part of a year long program with additional fees. I asked if she was going to program my hearing aids without the year long program and she said NO! I left without my hearing aids programed. Their web site does not include anything about additional evaluations or requirements., nor does their appointment process. Further they encourage out of state clients. I believe I was falsely setup to Travel to *******, hotel, and then after those expenses pay whatever to not leave without the *** programing.
