On the Week of 09/14/23 -09/21/23 I participated in an auction, and was the high bidder for a 3 inch Cool Gel Memory Foam Mattress Topper (see attached). After commission, and tax I was charged $38.10, which was taken out through my charge card. This item was advertised as new. I kept the topper in box until I could get up to my trailer location, and when I arrived and opened the box, I could see that it had been opened before. It was very difficult in getting out of the box. I spread the topper on my bed and noticed a urine stain in the middle of the topper. This should have never been in a sale due to health issues with this contamination. Phoenix Auction company has a very poor return policy, so when I sent an email notifying them of the urine stain there was no response. A week later I send another email request for refund and again no response. I sent a 3rd email request and still no response. I called and left a voice mail, no live person ever answers the phone. I explained on the voice mail and waited 3 days and no response. I called again for the last time which was on 10/27/2023 and there has been no response to this date. If there was a small discrepancy I could understand, but a Urine stay is sickening, and should have never been in the auction. I can understand that they may have not noticed, but you would think they would very quickly give a refund for the full cost of the item after finding out the issue. I still have the topper if they would like it back..
