    I ordered a backpack from this stores website on 01/27/24 and paid $58.98. The backpack was delivered on 02//1/24 with the security device still attached. I called this store upon opening it to discuss the options for returning or removing the security device. The manager informed me they absolutely do not take returns and although this was a mistake on their part, she told me to call around my town and take it elsewhere and see if someone else could remove the security device. I expressed I felt embarrassed taking an item to a random store and asking them to remove a security tag as if the item was stolen. I was met with less than apologetic tone and a firm refusal for other options. I live in a rural farming community and there are no large retail stores for nearly an hour away. I ended up taking the bag to a couple locations of small businesses in ****** ********** (the next town over) a few days after and asked if they could possibly remove the security tag. Unfortunately they did not have the same device used to snap the security tag off. I called the clothes mentor back and explained that I indeed took the bag to other shops and how they were unable to remove the tag. The manager reiterated no returns and had an annoyed tone with me. I expressed that I was very unhappy with this situation and she then questioned me what kind of security removal device the stores had as if I was not being truthful. I expressed how upsetting and inconvenient this situation was and that I wanted this fixed and only then did she rudely say well send it back and well take it off. I asked if I would be compensated for shipping charges and she said no because they were already meeting me half way by sending it back.I took photos and returned the bag in the same box it was shipped in for $10.09. I emailed the details to the store as well as asking for a full not partial refund. My email was not answered. My calls and emails are not being returned. I received only a partial refund.
