1 starSubject: Buyer Beware Like many Arizona residents, I have artificial grass (putting green) in my yard and recently had a contractor out to estimate putting hole replacements. During the process, he pointed out my grass being dry rotted and recommended to check my artificial grass warranty, as they will often have a UV fade/dry rotting warranty. Luckily, the last homeowner kept records of all home improvements-including their purchase agreement from Artificial Grass Masters. I called multiple times to inquire about any warranty coverage - only to be met with emotional instability from the company owner. He was unnecessarily rude and lacked any decorum generally associated with a consumer-facing company owner. Although not the original homeowner who signed the purchase agreement, I did inherent artificial grass master's product and simply had coverage questions. In my experience, AGM's grass dry rotted after 8 years and they do point out their contractual allowance to make changes to terms and warranties should you chose to go with this company. I'm sure the owner will respond combatively as they did over the phone, but I wanted to share my experience with the product and service for anyone else shopping around. Do your own company research & read other reviews/responses.Artificial Grass Masters

First and foremost, Sgt ***** **** a career Marine purchased the home from an old customer that bought ********************** from my company over 8 1/2 years ago and then in 2020 ***** purchased the home from my previous customer. Then after 5 years of owning the home he contacted me requesting a claim on grass that he had concerns about at his home. I told him I could not find him in my system. He then said that was because the home was purchased off of a gentleman that bought the grass 8 1/2 years ago and he was not the original purchased of the grass. I then told the ***** **** that the contract that was signed by the original purchaser stated that the warranty was non-transferable. I also sent a screen shot of the signed contract that started it was non-transferable. ***** then continued to become aggressive as to why my policy didn't suit him and the fact he wanted something for nothing. I informed him that I have been in business for over 15 years and just because someone who bought a home that a different customer had purchased services for that was non-transferable was not going to change the way business was conducted just because he felt it was unfair and did not fulfill his inappropriate request. Then he promised to treat me down on reviews of he didn't get what he wanted. He then demanded I send him the information so he could falsified informative and act as if he was the previous homeowner to pursue a free piece of grass. This i felt was especially offensive after he sent me his email and it was ********, THAT TELLS ME ************************* ****. What kind of Veteran treats another vet as if he is nothing and should break the rules, this is completely disrespectful as i an the owner not someone that he could sneak a deal with. No honor in asking to break the rules, this is what is embarrassing about those who have served and act entitled as opposed to those that have serve our country and abide by the rules while others seek to take advantage in any light they can. I've been BBB Accredited for 14 years as a way to acquire new customers and have only ever received *************** 15 years, our marketing division decided to stop spending money with the BBB. ARTIFICIAL GRASS MASTERS HAS INSTALLED ****** YARDS ACROSS THE VALLEY IN THE LAST 15 YEARS. That is 1 house every 1/4 mile. So for someone to bash me because they couldn't get something for nothing is a joke. I honor my customers but I do not consider cheating the system honorable. So ***** ****, look in the mirror and REALIZE a warranty claim is something you pay for, so trying to take advantage of a small business that always takes care of its customers and is a driving force for disabled vets and their spouses that we have contributed over $300,000 in our community. You trying to take advantage of my company is taking advantage of the vets I do right by. Thank you for you service, but it doesn't entitled you to take advantage of those that work hard to build a business just so you can tear it down when you don't get something for nothing. Put some real skin in the game. Im a veteran also. You have no respect for the working man. I stand for the american dream and support those that support me... those that take advantage or try to take advantage of what they don't have coming to them are not what a veteran is respected as or supposed to stand for. So when you decided to make a review, make a review about a product you actually purchased and have the right to talk about. As someone who was a recruiter, you should respect people, where they come from and what they do for a living. Sempre Fidelis-Always Faithful...unwavering loyalty of every Marine to their fellow service members, the Corps, and the nation. This is supposed to be respected not viewed as a right to take advantage of fellow service members, small business and services they have not paid for.As far as your pics last posted, I don't appreciate you attacking and harassing me.Artificial Grass Masters

1 starThis place only cares about money, not the quality of the service provided. Spent a significant amount on turf for my whole backyard. They brought the product first week of July during the hot ******* sun with triple digit temperatures. The product sat at my curb with heavy clear plastic bags and other tools rolled into itself for over two weeks. once they installed, I noticed a very large area of uneven turf. I noticed right away there was a large spot of turf that seem to be misshapen and would not stand up like carpet fibers would. The workers explained that after a week they should go away. It didnt. immediately called. The company came out and took pictures and later on had the audacity to blame it on the fact that I had a window which didnt even hit that area of the line that was causing this problem. I again very patiently explained that this showed up on the day of install, and could not be because by my window, due to the fact that it not only did NOT hit the spot in question, which was approximately 7 feet long, but also I had pictures to prove that it was THERE on the day of the install that the turf, looked like it was burned. I have written emails and letters with no response, and a year later I am still left with burnt turf because they left it out on the street with heavy plastic bags on top of it, which clearly melted the area. The owner and its staff does not care. They simply want your money. Stay far away from this company.Review fromRichard B

1 starI am ex military and I have used them twice First of all they started ( WITHOUT PERMISSION) and used a bobcat skid steer on my property that belonged to my contractor. They were told to stop until my contractor was asked/ He said it was OK because he has used them himself before. My wife saw them park it back where they found it and also say it later that night before it got dark. Well in the morning it was missing. Phone calls were made to locate it but we could not find it/ Owner was out of town so we waited So we called Artificial Grass Masters and explained the situation and then we were contacted by the General Manager and then the lies started His name is **** and he should be a politician with lies and deception He called my wife a liar saying she saw the bobcat later that night (because his guys who are like family saw someone picked it up before they left) and then had nerve enough to say he played back a recording from the Bobcat owner saying we had left for the evening and were not at the house later that night WHICH IS NOT TRUE AND NOT ON HIS RECORDING When you ask **** a question he just dances around the question and never answers Well come to find out they hire illegals and one in particular over this never showed up to work the next day, They started using the Bobcat without permission and are guilty for it being missing and they will not do anything to helpArtificial Grass Masters

Thank you for expressing your concern. I called the police department and found our that the theft of your equipment was one of 6 they were investigating. We have been more than compliant with not only you but also the contractor who has used us on countless jobs. We have provided not only information based on the interviews that we have conducted with our installers but we have also provided the *** locations of all vehicles that were sent to your property. I have not been combative and all of the conversations we have had have been completely transparent. e have our own bobcats and we have been in business for over 10 years. We pride ourselves in being a veteran owned company and a good standing member with our community and all the surrounding cities. We are proud that we have over ****** customers and this has never been an issue or concern. We evaluated the entire scenario and considering that the heavy equipment that had been store at your property was true in fact utilize by my install team, when you had called to inform the contractor he approved of us utilizing the equipment. I am in goodstanding with the contractor as I have always been. I understand your concern for the equipment coming up missing but I assure you there is no amount of equipment or money that would justify theft. We are a premier provider of Artificial Grass in not only the valley, but especially n ********** as not many Artificial Grass Companies will travel out there. We are grateful for our customers and we have always conducted business in the most trustworthy lights. We always stand behind our product ands services. We always take care of our customers to ensure future business. If you still have questions or concerns I urge you to contact me direct as I am the owner and want to make sure I protect my customers that support me and my company. I am here for you, the contractor I've been working with and all the other customers in your area.Review fromChandra B.

There was no reason to repair anything. We went over he entire deal not once but literally 15 times which you had us drive all the way to your house then your changed the project after reviewing it and accepting it since the initial payment was received. You said you loved the design then we installed it, then you came back and said you wanted to move the entire installation to the left 1 foot, So I agreed and scheduled and date. Then when we arrived you asked us to reschedule because after you talking to your dad you thought that you might have approved of the paver step stones that were separated ever 12 inches were to far apart which we told you were to far apart, but you didn't want to spent extra money for more product. So you asked us to put them closer, then you said that the pergola that we had to custom order (cost me $6,000 non-returnable) was not going to be big enough and that you wanted it bigger. So I ordered a bigger one costing me $12,000 (again non-returnable) our of pocket. Then when it arrived you said, I don't it because I thought your were going to give it to me for the same price. So I told you I just wanted to finish your job without anymore issues. You then told me that you wanted me to submit plans to the *** for your front yard and we did, then you cam back and said that what we sold you was not accepted by the *** and that you wanted us to pay for the difference. We only gave you what you asked for, we do not report to your *** nor do we know their regulations. So we asked for them, then we adjusted everything and you responded that you couldn't deal with is as it was to overwhelming for you so you asked us to deal with your father. He the gave us a general idea of the expectation and told us that you were always creating drama for contractors and that it would be easier to deal wit him. Then when we started dealing with him he fell sick. So no communication with us and instead of allowing us to complete the project you attacked us online and refused to pay us and then filed a claim for a charge back. I've only had 3 customers ever conduct business with is like this in 10 years and you are one of them. y recommendation to you is conduct business as i should be conducted. Don't take advantage of small businesses that make our world a better place and know what you want so you don't waste our time or cost us money. There are a lot of other customers that value our business and serves who wont try to take advantage and our time is better spend accommodating them. You cost our company $30K in products materials, installation, time and labor and then you have the audacity to act like the victim. I never act like this with customers ever but I never have customer act like this with me ever. I'd appreciate you take responsibility for your actions but based off of your actions and reviews I may be asking for to much. Just be a good person. We have been nothing but good to all of our customers, that is what keeps us in business year after year.
