I purchased a vehicle from ********* in August 2024. In April 2025, I was contacted by Bridgecrest for debt collection. I exercised my right to request validation of the debt. In response, they sent me two different contracts or documents showing different vehicle purchase prices for the same car. This raised serious concerns about the accuracy and legality of the loan. I disputed the debt based on this contradiction. Despite the unresolved dispute and conflicting documents, Bridgecrest repossessed my vehicle. This appears to violate the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and possibly state repossession laws, as the debt is not clearly validated and the amount is in dispute.I previously filed a complaint with the ***** but this newly discovered issue (the conflicting contracts) makes it clear that this is more serious than initially known.

      - Repossessed my vehicle without valid grounds
I request further investigation and assistance in resolving this matter.

I financed a 2018 ********** Eclipse Cross 4WD through Bridgecrest. Just months later, the vehicle experienced repeated mechanical failures not covered by the $3,400 SilverRock warranty. I voluntarily surrendered the vehicle, and Bridgecrest verbally guaranteed (during my first CFPB complaint in 2024) it would not negatively impact my credit. However, Bridgecrest reported the tradeline as an involuntary repossession, with incorrect payment history and repo dates. They also charged an APR of ******%, above ******** allowable limit. In their June 3, 2025 letter, they admitted their investigation was non-conclusive, yet continued to report the loan.Under **** and Florida law, unverifiable reporting must be deleted. I have since filed three **** complaints and one with the Florida Attorney General. I have full documentationincluding the warranty terms, loan APR, disputes, and Bridgecrests lettersand am prepared to share upon request.I respectfully request the BBB mediate this dispute, encourage Bridgecrest to correct or delete the tradeline, and hold them accountable for deceptive reporting practices.

On 5/4/24 I purchased a vehicle through drive time and was financed by Bridgecrest. I was sold a vehicle that consecutively keep breaking down from August to November. I was referred to ********** and warranty. I contacted Bridgecrest in regards to the vehicle that was financed keep breaking down and was told they would not help me and too bad !!! And if I didnt like what was happening to me to return the vehicle and I would still be charged and responsible and if I dont pay I would have negative reports on my credit for the next 7 years. My complaint is Bridge crest did nothing to ensure I had a proper vehicle to pay for. And its unbelievable that I was sold a vehicle that requires a new engine to use. Bridgecrest did nothing to compensate me for my losses and didnt even try to work with Drive Time and Silverrock to ensure my safety or get me into a reliable vehicle. They just repeated what I owe and did nothing to help me. Bridge crest and Drive time are in cohorts selling vulnerable people unreliable vehicles in anticipation they will get paid either way. The customer representatives are in agreement with companies to sell vehicles that need engines exhaust system manifolds wheel bearings and a whole heap of other repairs. I feel justice is needed for Drive Time, Silver rock, and Bridgecrest victims and the world needs to highlight and stop people from being scammed. Bridge crest is a rip off and giving loans for vehicles they know dont work efficiently.
