I paid Grand Canyon Law Group and **** ****** to represent me in court and paid in full, after about 2 months **** ****** withdrew from my case and kept all my money.

I did not pay **** ****** for a consultation, I paid **** ****** to represent me in court, the Law Firm Grand Canyon Law Group billed me by the hour and kept all of my flat fee detainer.

I represented myself in court and I was acquitted.

Mr. ****** is a crook and had absolutely no reason to withdraw from my case, I was without a doubt innocent and my case was very easy to win.

I attempted several times to ask for my money back only to be harassed by Mr. ******.

Mr. ****** also yelled at me in public very lude rude and insulting words.

This client did, indeed, retain our firm to represent him and his wife in separate cases. We charge flat fees, but our representation agreement clearly states that we bill for any time we spend on the case, and this was also communicated to the client prior to retainng and during representation. It explains that if we part ways prior to the resolution of the case, we will refund any remaining amount of fees that have not been billed/ used. This client was exceptionally difficult and abusive to our staff. He improperly filed motions on his own behalf without consulting with his legal team, which is improper, and made statements that were also unfounded, abusive, and improper about the Court and prosecution. We had multiple conversations explaining that this could not happen. He also demanded conversations over and over again in which he would simply repeat his complaints about the prosecution against him, at which time the owner of the firm explained to him that all the time he was using is billed against his case. He continued to be difficult and inappropriate to staff as well as interfering with our ability to represent him, at which time we let him know that we would be withdrawing from his case before we did so. Then we withdrew in accordance with ethical and procedural rules of the court. We did an accounting of his case and his wife's case. He had burned up FAR more in fees that he ever paid us, but we did not request any further fees from him or count it against his wife's case. We offered to refund the unused portion of his wife's case.

He has repeatedly filed untrue and defamatory reviews online, made a bar complaint to the Arizona Bar (which was fully investigated and dismissed as unfounded), and continues to harass members of the firm even though he has been told he is to stop contacting us in any way, and is free to file a lawsuit if he wishes.

Mr. ****** is a Pathological liar and everything he stated is only his unfounded opinion.

The State Bar complaint against Mr. ****** is still pending and should result in his suspension and in our opinion he should be completely disbarred.

None of the statements made by me or my spouse are defamatory they are 100% true.

We will be filing a formal civil complaint against Mr. ******, ****** ****** ****** and Grand Canyon Law Group for breach of contact, unethical behavior for damages in the amount to of over $**************

We will also be adding the lies and deceit he presented here to the complaint as Mr. ****** continues to lie deny and delay, Mr. ****** is in denial of what we consider to be fraudulent, criminal actions of ripping us off for trusting him to represent us in court which Mr. ****** failed to do after he was paid in full.

We did not need Mr. ******** permission to file any motions after Mr. ****** was granted proper status he became lead counsel and did not need Ryan ******** unfounded opinion and or to steal our hard earned money for trying to help him to better represent our case and his unethical and fraudulent withdrawal is and was and will always be considered fraud.

Mr. ****** seems to believe that he can put in an unenforceable clause is his trickery of a contract, but the jury will have the last say about his fraudulent acts of deceptive business practices and criminal fraud.

Mr. ****** is a pathological liar, and should be disbarred.

Unfortunately, I do not believe this complaint is really intended to be resolved. It should be noted that these messages are not from the person it says it is, since she does not speak english. But this is from her husband (who I believe does not speak her language). As you can see, they are demanding $************ in damages in a case that was dismissed and for which we were paid $***** and offered a partial refund. This is obviously ridiculous. We offered a partial refund which was rejected. There is not much more we can do. These complaints are in addition to multiple other repeated communications and are just meant to harass our firm. We have repeatedly asked him to stop contacting us, but he continues to do so. Sadly, I believe this is a mental health issue and wish this couple all the best and hope they can move on with their lives.
