    I purchased a homeowners insurance policy with Stonegate insurance through my insurance agent Insurance Professionals Of Arizona Bonanza Insurance Broker on 11-15-24. The policy was canceled on.1-15-25 without proper notice due to noncompliance. The back porch was missing a handrail. My agent contacted me on.1-17-25 to inquire why my policy had been canceled. This was the first time that I had heard about it since I was not notified so I asked her why. She got back with me a few days later we corrected the noncompliance within 30 days. I was told the policy would be reinstated, but then later was told that it had to be rewritten and the premium was increased by about$300 more per year. We paid for the new policy out of our escrow account and requested a refund on our original policy. There was also a fee for forced place insurance from my mortgage company for approximately a month of not having insurance. I have never received a refund for my first policy purchased which should be around $1000. Ive made several phone calls and have a very long email trail of communications with the insurance agent in attempt to get my refund. I feel like Im getting nothing but the runaround on this, including yesterdays phone call to the office manager who I was not able to speak to because he was having phone issues. I feel my agent should be my advocate, but at this point, theyre not doing anything to help me secure my refund.

    This is **** ******* the owner of the agency.  This is the first I have heard of this situation.  I will begin to work on a resolution to this asap.  All offices are closed currently for the holiday weekend but should get things moving quickly on Monday.  First I need to find out what the issue is with Stonegate Insurance.  I will be in touch with you  soon and/or my operations manager.  We want to help you.
