    I ordered The Schumann V2 Pro from The Schumann on 6/19/25. When I got the product, it was clear that it had been used. The setup paper was bent and there was a **** on the device. I started to use the device and soon realized it was defective. The operation light would turn off when it shouldn't have and there was a glitch with the battery bar. I e-mailed the company's 24/7 customer service and asked for an exchange. They replied, and mentioned nothing of an exchange, but assured me that they never sell used items. They asked me to send a video of the issue. I obliged and restated that I want an exchange. per their warranty. They said they would find a solution and would respond by the next morning. I didn't hear from them in this time period.I read their refund policy, which states they charge a restocking fee and require that all the contents of the product, including the papers, show "no signs of use whatsoever." This indicates to me that they do, in fact, sell returns. I lost trust in them and filed with my bank for a charge dispute. Then the company reached out to confirm my address to send the replacement. But they made it seem like I damaged the product and that the gesture was of goodwill. I sent them photos to prove it wasn't damaged and requested a refund instead, but they replied that they already sent the package (without confirming my address). They said if I want a refund, I'd have to return both (and I presume pay their fees). I told them they could recall the package and restated that I want a refund and have not gotten a response since. I asked **** to return to sender, but the company rejected it.Their site advertises 100% satisfaction guarantee, Free 30-day returns. The company is not honoring this, which is false advertising. The terms/conditions state that everything on their site (including the testimonials) is fictional and the company is LLM (AI Generated). I was not asked to agree to these terms before buying. This is fraud.
