  I've attended the **** program since December 2022 as I work to heal from betrayal trauma. The group was really great when run by *********************** until May 2023. After that, there was a very weird and uncomfortable change and the therapist that led the program left seemingly out of nowhere.Come to find out, *************************, the owner and executive director of Family Strategies was accused of sexual harassment by employees (to put it lightly) and the victims spoke up (with proof) around the same time that my therapists (individual + group) left the practice. Coincidence? I think not. You can read the board action where he voluntarily revoked his license here: *********/node/*************************** has no intention of providing honesty and transparency to clients and allowing them to make the best and right decision for their care with all of the facts provided to them, but I'm going to be. It could have been handled so much better and even though this is a terrible situation, the practice could have built trust with clients by being honest and transparent. Unfortunately, that's not what happened.The fact that the practice is still actively posting video content on ******* as of a few days ago with the perpetrator as a spokesperson for Band of Brothers is disturbing as are the circumstances in which he voluntarily revoked his license. He was involved in a situation back in 2021 too and only got a slap on the wrist.The truth always comes out, and unfortunately, there's always more to a story than what someone gets caught with so I'm sure there is more to come to light in time. I hate to even say his name, but, even though ************************* is no longer allowed to see patients, as the owner, he's still profiting off of clients so there's absolutely no way this "business" is receiving a ***** more from **** will tell everyone I know to stay away from this practice.

  Official statement from ******************************************:

  An allegation of sexual harassment from over seven years ago, was made against me by two former employees. The accusations are untrue and the information provided to the licensing board to support the allegation was extrapolated and taken out of context. Unfortunately, even though allegations do not prove wrongdoing, the assumption of innocence is not applied in governing boards such as this one, nor in the jury of public opinion. Therefore, in the interest of my loved ones and my long-standing reputation in the counseling community I refused the licensing boards requirement of *** offender assessments and subsequent unwarranted public exposure and scrutiny. Instead I chose to retire my license and discontinue direct client services. However, because I refused the licensing board's order for a sex offender evaluation, they decided to revoke my license altogether. I am currently seeking legal remedies in this situation as I continue to run the day-to-day business operations of Family Strategies.
