I recently found out I've been a victim of identity theft. Upon checking my credit report, I discovered an account opened under my name without my consent. I promptly reached out to the creditor to provide proof that I had authorized this account. However, I haven't received any documents or proof confirming that I initiated or authorized this account. Given the absence of any evidence from the creditor, it's evident that this account is not mine and was fraudulently opened using my personal details. I made a payment to this company on 5/4/24 from my Neighbor**;s ************ account. I received a confirmation number (Conf# ******) and the amount was debited from my account on 5/6. I contacted this company and they told me they cannot find my payment. I have gone back and forth with them and they continue to send messages that my payment was not made.Initial Complaint

DIGNIFI BILLED ME FOR $576.31 IN AUGUST 2023. THIS A DUPLICATE CHARGE AND THEREFORE FRAUDULENT. I WAS ORIGINALLY BILLED ******* BACK IN MAY 2022. I HAVE REPEATEDLY INDICATED TO THEM THAT THIS DUPLICATE BILLING IS IN ERROR. I HAVE REQUESTED A COMPLETE HISTORY OF ALL INVOICES FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE ACCOUNT AND THEY HAVE NOT SUBMITTED ME ALL INVOICES AS OF CURRENT DATE. I made arrangements with dignifi because I was having surgery in ***** it was to pay 2 payments in Jan ****** each, pay ***** feb , extra in ****** march, miss ***** pay ****** in May and ******. today June 3rd which I did. However on May 22nd they reported 90 days late to credit which hit my score 100 points. I called them today and was told not their issue. I want my credit repaired from their error.Initial Complaint

We were scammed by a fly by night car lot that's supposed to be liquidation sales! The Finance guy stayed in a back room, never went over papers with us and ************** Kid, sat there!Also getting on each of our phones signing us up for two separate loans at five thousand each?! Two loans were illegally created by a contract sales person a young kid **** who picked up our phones and was trying to rush through this thing called dignify.. we didn't have a clue it was for 2 extra loans we never agreed to not approved...******************* was financing the purchase which was on paperwork as sales person...he works for Tri State Liquidators and he refuses to talk to us...I've reached out to dignifi to resolve the extra loans and was talking to *** or *****..he was going to get resolution team on it .since then he won't contact us..was told it was done on ur phones...we didn't agree to 2 extra loans and reported it as fraud and ID theft..they never spoke to us on phone for verification so they call multiple times a day rings once and they hang up..they need to resolve this ASAP as no one would take a loan at 36 percent interest.As of today no voicemail no communication nothing.Initial Complaint

Hello Team,For the loan #******, which is reflecting in my DIGNIFI account, I have already given cancellation request for the loan on 02nd February. Dignifi Team called me and took my authorization on 2nd Feb to cancel the loan and confirmed me that the same will be cancelled by 05th Feb. Even after a week, I can still see the outstanding loan amount in my account and I did not get a cancellation mail confirmation as well. I have already paid the service amount to **************** after DigniFi confirmed on loan cancellation. I do not want end up paying double for the service for which I have already paid. Dignifi is a predatory lender abusing the elderly by intimidating them into providing personal information, authorizing electronic payments and never enabling them to pay off their accounts. Dignifi abuses the elderly by continuously charging fees, never enabling borrowers to close accounts and by confusing them with 'promotional offers' that are just disguises for additional fees. My mother needed to pay a $2000 auto repair bill and they charge her 10% per month. **************** is very difficult to reach, they ask invasive personal questions and confuse people.Business Response

DigniFi is in receipt of your December 26, 2023 referral regarding the complaint of *************************************** relative to a WebBank/DigniFi account.
********************** accounts are originated by WebBank and serviced by DigniFi.
In the complaint, *************************************** states that DigniFi intimidates customers into providing personal information and authorizing electronic payments, and does not provide the ability to pay off accounts. They state that DigniFi is continuously charging fees and has confusing promotional offers. They add that **************** is difficult to reach and asks invasive personal questions. They are requesting a billing adjustment.
DigniFi complies with all applicable laws and regulations regarding our products. DigniFi routinely monitors customer service phone calls to ensure there are no invasive and intimidating practices. DigniFi provides pay off information and payment options within the consumer portal, located at www.DigniFi.com. All account details are provided to the customer prior to the first transaction within the Account Agreement, and includes details related to all applicable fees and promotional offerings.
DigniFi has no record of an account under the name ***************************************. Please note, DigniFi does not share customer information with third parties unless an account holder provides consent to do so. Therefore, DigniFi is unable to respond fully to this complaint and the associated request from ****************************************

On June 29, 2023, I was persuaded to trade in my vehicle supposedly for a more reliable car with **** ****** and to obtain a $3,000.00 loan to lower my payments. I dont recall ever being told the name of the company. I also do not know the address of this company and they have told me they are digital only, meaning I havent received any paperwork. I was originally told my payment wouldnt start until 2 months later, which would be August 29, 2023. I have paperwork with the bank but not the loan company. I had been getting messages but did not realize who they were coming from. Being a cautious person, I first thought it was someone trying to scam me. After not getting any paperwork, I decided to call the number on the messages and was informed my payment was due August 5. I was immediately shocked by this revelation and requested paperwork and was told that wasnt the way this company works. I am retired on a fixed income, I pay my bills without fail, and I had no idea whom these people were who kept messaging me so I didnt know this is how they requested payment. I had intended to budget my payments to start on August 29 but this has turned my finances upside down. I was also waiting for paperwork along with account number because like many things, still dont know my account number. Now this company is also charging me a late fee. I requested to speak to someone but was denied the ability to. All the person kept telling me is my payment was due and was sent information for me to go to a **** of all places and pay it there. I find that to be extremely shady and now am wondering if I am dealing with a fraudulent company. I dont even know what my payment was supposed to be or how much they are charging me for a late payment! This has been stressful to me, I am feeling like I am being scammed by people who will not be honest and work with me to get these payments down.
