    I hired *** and his crew from Carlson Tile to complete a bathroom remodel in both my master bathroom and guest bedroom. The master bathroom was complete on time with no issues therefore I was excited to have them complete the work on my guest bathroom with the same crew. The work itself was completed in a timely manor but shortly after I discovered the bathroom shower tiles began to crack or separate in 3 different areas along the shower floor. I took pictures and immediately contacted the own *** and advised him of the situation and also provided him with the pictures via text message. *** contacted me back and advised he was out of town but he would come by the following Tuesday to look at the issues. It was starting to get late Tuesday and I had not received a call or any contact from *** so I reached out. He responded saying sorry on other jobs on the other side of town can't make it today but can come tomorrow between 12-1 , I confirmed no issues you tomorrow, the next day came and also *** came with a new excuse again sorry now on a different side if town not going to make it but again will come the following day within a 1 hour window. The next say 40 mins before *** was to show up it was another new excuse, I advised *** that this is the 3rd day in a row that he has made excuses and arrangements and not showed up. This is unprofessional and inconsiderate of my time. Not to mention I had called and he doesn't answer and he also decided to discuss issues on my job with his other customers. Now the customers in question did refer me to his company but just because they refer me this doesn't give him the right to discuss personal business matters with 3rd parties. I advise I will take legal action via text and *** immediately responded stating he wS 20 mins away and would be over *** came reviewed the discrepancies in the bathroom and set an appointment to come overthe following Tuesday, stating because text a window on estimated time on Monday for Even to come and complete the repairs on Tuesday. Monday comes *** text and says even will be here today and provided a window, I advised we previously discussed i will not be home as have an appointment and he is aware that I am going through Lupus treatment. He said ok sorry Tuesday between 4-5pm I said that will br fine. Well today is Tuesday and it's after 8pm and again ******************** was a no call no show. I have attempted to call *** direct with no answer and I have also texted him advising no call no show again. I have yet to receive a response. Please be aware when looking to contract Carlson Tile Company for home make overs or repairs they are taking on way more jobs than they have the capacity to fulfill *** IF YOU DO **** AN ISSUE OR REPAIR NEEDED YOU ARE ***** FORWARNED EXPECT A RUN AROUND."

    Carlson Tile has been in continuous business for 32 years, as well as 19 years with the BBB. We do an average of 300 jobs a year and this is our first bad review ever on this site. Some of the reschedules the homeowner mentions are true, some other comments are not. We completed the minor shower caulking repair the same day the review was completed. This particular job was a 2 bathrooms renovation, involving demo, rough plumbing, tile, shower glass, finish plumbing, among other tasks, for each bathroom in a separate phase of work. Probably 12 separate trade schedules in total for the 2 bathrooms. We hit everything else on time for both phases as the customer mentions, except this last minor caulking touch up. We had at this time an unprecedented volume, plus a vacation period for this foreman. Still this was not in any way acceptable on our part. It definitely does not represent our values or the service we deliver 99.9% of the time. We profusely apologized to the customer. The workmanship was outstanding, her bathrooms look awesome, all at a very reasonable price. We do not have a social media presence as we have as much work as we can handle. We honestly get compliments on our work quality every week. We will now encourage positive posts to this site.
