Issue 1- The owner of the business provided a quote and agreement to install AC units with a 10 year warranty. The systems he installed only have a 5 year warranty. When we discussed the issue, we came to an agreement that he would reimburse me an amount of money to allow me to buy a separate warranty through another warranty company for the additional 5 years. This agreement was made on March 26th. It is now September 5th and hes not kept his commitment to reimburse me.Issue 2- he did not provide me with the information I needed for an SRP rebate in a timely or complete manner. This made it so that I was unable to obtain that rebate through SRP . As part of the agreement to resolve issue 1, he also agreed to reimburse me an additional $300 to make it right since it was his fault that I couldnt get the rebate. He has also not kept his commitment to reimburse this money. The total agreed upon amount for reimbursement is $1380.00. A text message on April 8th reads I've been away on family business. Just got back. I will bring cash to you in a few days, as well as a document to sign just stating that the money is for a home warranty He never came and has not been helpful or communicative and not kept his commitment to pay the agreed amount to make it right.

*** ******** contracted ************** to do his remodel. *** ****** sub contracted Perfect Temp A/C to do the air conditioning portion of that job.
Several inspections were done throughout the build process, which were all passed by Perfect Temp A/C.
We installed brand new Trane equipment, unpackaged right on the job site.
*** ******** and *** ****** were both instructed to register the equipment online to activate the 10 year parts warranty. That is why the model numbers and serial numbers are on the invoice. *** ******** later stated that he had forgotten our conversation.
When an issue developed with one of the systems, we came and addressed it.
Trane was on backorder of the replacement part, and *** ******** was unhappy . I explained that we did not build the machines, we just installed them.
Every effort was made to rectify the situation.
*** ******** discovered that his equipment had not been registered, and that now he would only have 5 years parts warranty.
He insisted that Perfect Temp purchase a whole house warranty to satisfy him.
I offered to purchase an additional 5 year warranty from an authorized Trane 3rd party. *** ******** refused, and said if I didn't provide him with a whole house warranty, he would make complaints to the Registrar of Contractors. Which he did.
They came, checked the systems, and cleared Perfect Temp A/C of any wrong doing.
*** ******** then said he would like Perfect Temp to pay half of the whole house warranty, to satisfy him and clear up the complaint.
I stated that I was not going to pay for a warranty to cover all his appliances, framing, flooring, etc.
*** ******** came back with threats of complaints to the BBB and ******* Which he did.
He was very pleased to call and text me about this.
He then stated that if I would just purchase the original 5 year parts warranty from Trane, that he would remove the BBB and ****** complaints and bad reviews.
I replied that Perfect Temp A/C would not be extorted or blackmailed, and that we would no longer be in contact.
His machines were repaired under the guidelines of labor and mechanical warranties.
I realize that this is the short version, so if anyone needs further clarification or wants to hear the whole story please contact ***** from Perfect Temp A/C  at ************..

    Customer Answer

*****, the business owner is wrong on multiple accounts in his response. Instead of owning up to mistakes, he makes excuses and points the finger! A simple five minute phone call to trance at time of installation wouldve made this a non issue. After install, he was completely absent and non communicative at times when follow up services were needed. The only reason that the registrar of contractors cleared him is because they supposedly dont address customer service issues. His lack of professionalism and complete disregard for registering the system to get the full warranty are a reflection of his pathetic excuse of a business. When I tried to come to a final resolution by having him pay for the extended warranty on the aC unit only (not whole house warranty as he claims) he outright refused and offered to meet with me in a parking lot and settle it over a fist fight. He has the mentality of a high school tough guy.
Anyone considering using him should be prepared for a nightmare of an experience.
