    This company reached to me to schedule a discounted maintenance check/tune-up for my HVAC system. The company sent two technicians to my condo, who after inspecting my condenser, told me it was damaged beyond repair and that I would need a new unit - the lowest quote I received from this company was $8,300 for the new unit with installation and warranties.I was truly surprised by this, so I had a different **** company come for a second opinion. This company found no operational issues with my HVAC systemin in their inspection - not even a leaking component. I was simply low on Freon. The second company charged me $300 for a system check, leak inspection, and Freon recharge. I was almost scammed out of $8,000 by Aire Serv of Red Mountain.

I am glad we were able to get out and check your system out and I appreciate you choosing Aire Serv of Red Mountain, as I can see we have serviced your system a couple of times. First let me be clear,we pride ourselves on great service and the things we do for our customers and our community. The problem we saw in your system was no different than what another company saw, we just didnt present all the options, which we typically do. When systems have issues with ***** running low, there is a problem which needs to be addressed currently or on the near future, and adding Freon is not a long term or permanent solution. My team didnt give you the option of filling it and this did not come up in the conversation, so for this I apologize on behalf of my company. Many times, we fill Freon per the customers request, to only have them unhappy when it has to be done again or the system has to be replaced as a long-term solution, and they have to do this, after they have spent money on Freon fills. Again we missed the mark here in not presenting all the options and letting you make the choice. We are glad your system is cooling the way it should.
