    Dear BBB, we are ***** and **** ********. We are seeking help from the BBB, with a consumer fraudulent Misleading and dishonest business that sold us a dangerous boat. The individuals that own and run the business are: Javi ********* and ***. On April 30th, 2025 we bought a 1997 ****** ***** cabin boat from Javi ********* at Prestige RV and Auto sales in **************** *******. **** drove from ********* NV down to *********** to purchase the boat. We paid $12,500.00 cash for it. We made the purchase based on an advertisement video done by ****** himself.The video states clearly that the boat is in excellent condition and ready to be in the water with no issues. The video states as the advertisement states that the boat engine is 11 thousand dollars newly rebuilt and in perfect condition, ready to use no issues. So based on Javi's video ad and after talking with him personally, we trusted he was telling the truth and we bought the boat. All of it was a lie! we put the boat in the water to use it on May 2nd, 2025 the engine compartment filled with water, the engine overheated, lines, were not connected, fuel was leaking, bilge pumps were not connected and didn't work Reverse didn't work, and a list of several other problems were found. We had to get towed back to the dock, the boat would not run and it was trying to sink as it filled with water. I was absolutely scared to death, & My husband was so furious. We tried for several days to get ahold of Javi to tell him we had horrible issues with the boat, and he would not call us back. Then we left a message saying we we're going to sue him, & then he called. after telling him the problems he agreed to fix the boat. we took it back and he had it for 3 weeks, told us it was fixed but it wasn't.. he lied to us about all of it, now he won't talk to us, won't fix the boat, won't buy it back . So we are stuck with a dangerous boat and are out $12,500.00. We also filed a complaint with the ******************* .
