THIS COMPANY STEALS MONEY FROM THEIR PATIENTS. Be very careful when dealing with this company they will steal from you. They said my insurance was covered, never verified it, and then decided to bill me the self pay price. I never gave them my credit card info, yet they still found it and tried to charge me. They somehow stole my credit card info and then tried to steal money from me.

On March 12, 2025 I traveled to this business to revoke my consent for treatment of my child. On the same day, the business refused to accept my consent, and stated that they would only receive the request via post mail.On March 12, 2025, I notified the business of my revocation via e-mail.On March 12, 2025, I notified the business of my revocation via their HIPPA complaint patient portal. On March 24, 2025 I sent the revocation via certified mail.On March 26, 2025, the business refused my letter via certified mail (maliciously attempting to bypass state and federal law).On April 1, 2025, despite revocation of services, the business continued to perform services that were permission was revoked. The business also continued to charge my insurance for services rendered.

      Customer Answer

      Date: 05/12/2025

I contacted the company directly having travelled to their location on March 12, 2025. The company told me that they intended to continue to provide the services (despite my revocation of permission), and that I could not stop them from doing so.

They asked me to submit a formal letter of consent revocation, which I did ( and sent via certified mail on March 24 2025). The company then refused to accept the certified letter which they themselves had provided instruction for on March 26 2024.

I followed every instruction the company provided in order to resolve the dispute, but they refused to stop services (even though they were legally and ethically obliged).

Transitions Counseling and Consulting has acted maliciously and attempted to mislead me in order to profit from illegal and unethical business practices.

They did so by violating A.R.S. ****** and A.R.S. 32-1601.

Violating state law is not good business practice, and their business licenses should be revoked.

      With great concern,
      -********* *******

I received a statement that I have a balance with this organization when I could never get them to call back & verify my insurance, so I never even technically had an appointment. I contacted you guys multiple times to get insurance verification & also to cancel the appointment when I got a reminder. No one answers no one calls back nothing! It is illegal to charge a new patient for services that werent rendered or a now show ****** a referral coordinator for a primary care ***************** refer to your organization often. I will be sure to add you to our do not refer list. Awful billing & practicing!

Billing refuses to provide receipts and when parent calls to report child was hospitalized due to medication changes No one responds back. Providers do not attend appointments, even though you are logged in for over an hour using the link they provided they will still claim that you missed your appointment and charge you for it.

I recently scheduled an appointment with Transitions Counseling and Consulting. I completed all of the required intake paperwork online and was told I had an appointment on 9/18/2024 at 1:00 with ******* ********. This individual was not on the website nor were credentials listed on the appointment. At no point was I provided a written informed consent form. During the meeting, which lasted approximately 15 minutes and was redundant to the paperwork, I was verbally informed that Arleyns is a mandatory reporter and she would disclose some topics with her supervisor as she was unlicensed. I inquired as to what license she was obtaining. At no point was I notified of who her supervisor/licensed qualified health provider was or how to contact them. After the intake paperwork was completed, I was informed that my insurance, UHC, requires an LPC. I inquired as to if it was specific to LPC or any Licensed practitioner. I was informed it was any licensed practitioner but was then told Transitions Counseling and Consulting has a waitlist and cannot see me. I was charged $131 for this service. I spoke with the billing office and inquired what CPT code was used for this service, if the licensed QHP was not present. I was informed that she billed under her supervisor's license, but was still not provided with an individual's name or contact information. This company billed me under false pretenses and knew they did not have capacity to service me.
