      We first contacted ******** ****** back on 05/11/22 we inquired about 2 metal front doors and all interior doors including 2 barn doors and a pantry door. At that point he requested that we send him pics of what we wanted. He never drew up any plans or showed us prior to start or the project. We didn’t seem concerned since he stated he had fabricated these doors prior with the design we had requested. Once he said what type of work he did. Sunday, June 12th he sent us the total of all doors of 13,000.. which we agreed on and gave him the job. He requested half of the total upfront to start the job. We went ahead and Zelle’d him the deposit. That same day he gave us an estimated time of completion of 6-8 weeks. Then everything went downhill from there. It’s had been, we will be there next week, sorry we couldn’t make but next week for sure.. and so on. On August 2nd he said “next week we will have them installed” nothing happened.. then about 16 weeks in he said “we’re very behind and very stressed we can’t complete the work, I will have my guy that I subcontract the wood doors to, send you the money he received to start your doors, which was 920.00, actually, I will have him send it to me to be even” He never made the doors that go inside only the 2 front doors. September 21st he dropped off the doors but no install. At that time we had mentioned to him that the doors were not the design we wanted. And on October 3rd doors finally got installed but not correctly. There’s a gap on the bottom and weather shield was not put on and the doors look very poorly made. We had asked if he would be able to install stainless steel handles and at first he said he could but then retracted and stated he wouldn’t be able to weld stainless steel with metal and he installed square basic metal and not plumb. Trying to get a response from ******** has been challenging and is adamant that he has completed the job to his satisfaction.

      Dear BBB, sorry for not responding at an earlier time due to dealing with a physical injury. We have tried to communicate with the client, does not answer calls, but they ask that we text. So we saw their complaint. We want them to be happy, so we agree to give them a refund. We have sent them a text, notifying that we will be at there home the 23rd of January with their refund and to pick up the doors. We await their response. Thank you.

      The only reason I do not accept this response from the Business is because the business owner, ******** had agreed on a refund and what he is trying to refund is not what we paid him. I have included a screenshot of the Zelle amount paid. Thank you

      Thank you for informing us on what they said. Yesterday we went to meet them, and we settled things in person. We gave them their refund, picked up the pieces, and finished up settling any remaining issues. Thank you for helping us mediate

      We did get the doors removed BUT the owner provided 2 checks for refund one for 01/27/23 and another for 2/3/23 once we deposited the first check we got a possible return message from our bank which I have included in the attachments. We are trying to get our refund zelled just like they got their deposit. It seems like the company is having a hard time providing this refund as. It’s something they did not go through when them receiving their money. We are trying to get our refund by zelle but seems like business is having a hard time refunding our money. They took the doors already we still don’t have our refund.
