I purchased a car with CNAC on or about July 2021. It was repossessed and sold after a judgment was issued against me (see documentation from CCAP). The car was a lemon, and it was not drivable after only having it for a few months. CNAC would not offer me any recourse to renegotiate the loan amount because of these deficiencies. I contacted CNAC via email and received a response from *********************** on May 31st (see documentation from email). My inquiry was regarding my outstanding balance. **************** was not helpful even though I simply asked what I owed and how could I pay it. After some going back and forth, he stated that I owed $8748.61. I called CNAC to speak to someone that was over his head because of his reluctance to state the facts via email and because of CNACs known shady business practices. I never received a notice of what the car was sold for. The amount of $8748.61 would be the total amount of the loan. And that deficiency balance should be less. I want the paperwork stating what the car sold for so that I can find a reasonable way to resolve this issue and removed from my credit report. Sincerely, *******************************Initial Complaint

I purchased this vehicle from ******* on 8/10/23 from the Desoto ** location. I put down $500 which the down payment was $2000 and I would pay $300 every two weeks until it was paid then I would start my regular payments of $228 in November. I have attached my receipts of all the transactions I have made towards this vehicle and business. I have attached the email communications and contracts. I asked the Finance Manager/Latitser ****** if I can have an extension and pay $354 that was due on 10/6/23 and pay it on 10/20/23 which I would pay the remaining that was left which was $300 since I will owe my final deferred payment that day anyways she did not want to and had my vehicle picked up on 10/9/2023 on Monday out of spitefulness and I called her on 10/9/23 and asked her if she had my car picked up and she told me while I was on speaker for everyone to hear in my household **Yup I sure did have your car picked up when I communicated with her on Friday 10/6/23**. When I went to the car lot **** told me asked her what happened she told him she called me 3 times I didnt answer and had my car picked up when I have been communicating with her on 10/6/23. As a customer and the previous reviews on their website she is know to do this to customers and take their money. I have already invested $1400 on this vehicle and I am a returning customer with this ********************** but at a different location which I have never dealt with this ****** ** location. I feel she robbed me of my money and took the vehicle so she can resell it and have customers pay more so she can get a commission out of it. I want the money I have already paid in this vehicle back. I want a refund back of $1400 that I already paid on this vehicle and not put on my credit because of the unprofessionalism she displayed towards a customer and fraudulent service they have providedInitial Complaint

I have never even heard of CNAC before. I do not have any type of loan through them, yet they call my multiple times a day stating I've reported an accident, I owe them money and that my car is going to be repossessed. They suddenly started calling me about 2 months ago and now it's 5 to 6 times a day and no matter what I do they won't stop calling. I have blocked them and they leave voice mails. They won't leave me alone. Again, I have no clue who they are, no loans through them, no car through them, nothing. They just will not stop harassing me.Initial Complaint

I owe ***** on a car that i only get to keep for 30 days. Every other month since 2020 my car is in the shop and sometimes its longer than a month. I havent had the car more than 2 months at a time before it goes to the shop for week and months in end. They offer no rental assistance and I've complained to cnac multiple times and the only thing they car about is the car payment ive lost 2 jobs because literally im calling off multiple times over the car. Just today i called cnac they didnt even ask me how can they help me the first thing they said is how would you like to make your payment. And told me they would pit a complaint in and someone will call me. Something illegal is going on between jdbyrider and cnac because wvery story i read is exactly the same. They are taking people money and not giving them what i paid for which was a reliable car , they say they can help but they dont and still don't receive call backs they wont even allow you to speak to a manager . They need to be out of business taking peoples money and ignoring they the customers when they know the cars they sell are not driveable i have had a head gasket , transfer case , engine , converter and a list of other things done and its still not fixedInitial Complaint

October 21, 2022 Purchased vehicle with CNAC loan through Byrider October *****, 2022 Tire was flat every morning. We put air in 3 times a day. Took tire to ******* auto center for repair, we were told there was nothing wrong with the tire. Took the car to Byrider, after twenty minutes we were told they found a small nail and patched it. Had to miss work each of these days. On the 27th had Byrider tow car to their shop where a new tire was installed. November 1, 2022 car stalled at a stop sign and again while driving. Asked for a refund or a different car, was told by Tre they do not do refunds or change vehicles. They are willing to fix issues that have to do with drivability of the car and nothing more. November 11, 2022 car overheated, ******* replaced thermostat again, water pump and other things I dont remember. November 19, 2022 car overheated November 21, 2022 Byrider replaces thermostat again and cylinders I believe. We were told by Byrider mechanic when the car overheats again its probably the engine and one would be ordered so they could be ready for it. December 3, 2022 Engine overheated again, smoked up, had to call Byrider to have car towed to them. December 5, 2022 Contacted Byrider to ask about status, told the engine would be installed and car would be fixed Thursday the latest. Asked if we could receive discount on our payment since we were going to be without a car for a week and had JUST paid Friday for two weeks. Was told no, payment is due next Friday even though an entire week of work was missed. ******* told us if the car was in their shop for 5 days we MIGHT qualify for a rental. In their logic the car engine blowing on a Saturday didnt count because the car was not in their shop. So here we are stuck paying $326 every two weeks for a car that might work a full week if were lucky.Initial Complaint

We keep making our payments for our Van from ******************* to CNAC. We have statements from our bank saying the payments have been paid. This instance has occurred twice now since we got the van in March, where they state they have not received payments and need more money. We tried sending them all of our payment history and explained we've paid but they just keep saying they don't have it and won't call us back like they promised to help fix the issues and they refuse to admit they have our money. Currently they are saying we owe two payments which we have bank statements showing that both were paid. There's no one who will meet with us in person and help resolve anything. It's theift what they are doing.
