RE: Vero ************************** I spent over 12 hours total, attempting to complete the application on Vero and after two days trying, was finally able to get the application submitted and accepted by ****. It's my understanding that many people decide not to purchase a home at the ******************* in **********, ** simply because they finally gave up on submitting the application with Vero... It was a very frustrating experience, but I finally succeeded. VERO/Roots Mgmt - sent us a notice on 9-25-25 Congratulating us, that the application we submitted had been approved to rent a spot in the ******************* in **********, **. I have this official notice from ****. So we went on and had two inspections done on two different homes for sale there. We spent $1000 on two inspections. I have the receipts. We gave ******* Title our $500 ******* money to purchase. We spent over $1000 traveling from ********** to ******* to meet with your manager there at the park - traveling over 16 hours driving, three nights motel cost, gas purchase and meals. Right before we signed a contract to purchase the home we'd chosen in your park, we next get this notice from ****************, that we were denied approval. So, we're out all of this money because of your poor management. I have the receipts for everything - and the notice we were approved, and the message for your denial.I request that Roots Mgmt. send us a refund check immediately for the two inspection services done, total for both is $1000. We went forward with a realtor to purchase and paid for the inspections, based on a trust with your corporation after being told we were approved. You now owe us the refund for something we paid in good faith. There are real estate regulations and laws that make this refund mandatory. We expect a reply from you by October 31. Sincerely,***** ************** ******

Hello *****, we spoke with your Regional Manager, ****, and were informed that the denial was in error. Your correct application that you got the approval notice for is still, in fact, approved. If you have any further questions or concerns, please reach out to our office at ************.

Treehouse Communities refused to waive a pet fee for a *** animal. I have 2 and was told by the park manager ************************* "Both can be emotional support but the fee is waived on one of them. I have other residents with two emotional support felines, but are assessed for one pet." This is a violation of federal Fair Housing Act. I have filed a complaint with HUD. If this was done to you I strongly suggest you file a complaint with HUD even if they refunded the fees or not.
