    I rent the property mentioned above thru Progress Residential.. it has been twice that they have penalized me for receiving a notification from the hoa stating my front lawn needs maintenance which is a lie the front and back of my house I well maintained.. the houses around me are not and yet I dont see those houses ever doing anything to clean up I need them to stop giving false violations and be responsible for the fees I incurred with progress residential somewhere along the line between these two companies they are trying to take advantage of the tenants

    I live in *********************** in **** ** and they manage our community. We have a variety of issues with the community everything from bad outdoor decks to termite issues. I was told by the person who sold me the unit that they cover these items, sadly they do not. They dont follow the community CCRs either which do state they take care of pest control and the outside of the units. They are not very helpful and they make the homeowners pay for everything but the water. I dont understand why they raise the *************** every year and that money doesnt go towards the community it for some reason goes towards them. I would give this management company a flat out F because they are mis-leading and dont assist the homeowners with improvements or prevention in our community. They dont listen to the homeowners when help is needed especially when it comes to the large trees in our community which our overgrown and dangerous to the units around them. I would not recommend living in a community managed by them because they dont care about anyone else but themselves which is very greedy.

    Heywood Realty & Investment, ***** dba Heywood ******************** is the third-party managing agent hired by the ***** of ********* of Marlborough ************************ The duties of Heywood Realty as managing agent are to assist the elected board of directors (homeowners who are elected on a specified periodic basis by other homeowners) to administer the day-to-day functions and manage the directives of the board as outlined in the developer established and approved operative legal documents. Those documents are what defines the specific aspects and obligations of the association. They also define who is responsible to maintain (association or individual owner) the physical aspects of the community.We have no ability to determine or verify what information is directly conveyed between a buyer and a seller during a transfer of ownership. We do provide the buyer with a disclosure statement as is required by the ******* Revised Statutes once we are notified of a pending sales transaction, including the related operative legal documents.All financial budgets are prepared and approved by the elected board of directors, with management assistance. All funds are approved and disbursed according to the approved budget and with board oversight as they review and approve the complete financial statements and package, on a monthly basis.The elected board of directors is the governing body who establishes specific policy and who also steers the community and any community projects that they feel are needed and essential. This would also include any project related to trees.It appears that the complaining party doesnt truly understand the governance of the community and is frustrated because they were provided misinformation from a party other than the association.I hope that this information helps to clarify the situation so that this complaint can be dismissed.Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
