On Sept 15, 2023 we purchased a electric cozytrike 3 wheel tricycle ($1,931). This is the second trike purchase from this company. The first trike arrived in good condition and operation. The second purchase has both mechanical brake problems and needed several replacement parts that we purchased. A bike mechanic at a local shop in ***** ** assembled the trike and replaced the factory damaged brake parts. The same trike has electrical issues and turns itself off and on every few seconds. We hired a mobile bike mechanic who inspected the trike and recommended replacing the controller. We ordered a new controlled and had it installed by the mobile bike service.. Then we returned the parts with all the reciepts for parts and labor to the address with *********** with a request for or reimbursement of $660 covered by the 1 year warranty. The response was "the controller you sent back is working correctly."After several email requests for reimbursement without response, we did some research and learned that Mobility has a F rating based on complaints with BBB in *******. This company markets products to disabled and senior clients. We also learned that Mobility is headquarted in *********. They also have multiple locations in the **. We would consider a replacement trike if it was delivered fully assembled and operational Otherwise, we would like a full refund.
