1 starExtremely Disappointed Poor Quality Work, Incomplete Project & No Accountability, poor customer service....I am extremely disappointed with the service I received. We signed our contract at the end of August, but the crew didnt show up until October 23rd. From the beginning, it was obvious there was a major communication gap between the person who wrote the contract and the workers who came to do the project. They rushed through the job in just four days and insisted that I pay the entire amount immediately, even after I clearly told them I was not comfortable paying in full before the work was completed. They still demanded the full payment, and once they got it, the quality went downhill fast. The project is incomplete and not what we agreed on. They left several parts unfinished and made excuses to come back later, but its clear they have no intention of returning. On top of that, the work that was done is full of problems water leaks, loose and unstable pavers, and a setup that prevents us from enjoying our own backyard.Ive ended up watering the plants myself every single day. When I complained about the leaks and unfinished work, they sent someone who had no idea what to do and left without fixing anything. Every time I request repairs, they delay, make excuses, and push the date further out. As of now, I am still waiting for them to come back and fix the mess they created.Overall, this has been a frustrating, stressful, and highly disappointing experience. I would not recommend this company to anyone.Review fromCharles V

1 starThis company is unscrupulous. I highly suggest you find a different company to do your project. I contracted for a retaining wall and a paver patio. After i signed the contract and paid a $5k (20%) deposit, I was given a start date. I was then told that I would be required to make a payment. EACH DAY. The company had not laid out what was going to happen each day, nor how long the job would take. I also said to him, why would i make a payment on day one of the job when I already made a $5k payment? The GM also made verbal promises that were not kept. Not a great experience. Run away. Find a different contractor.Review fromAnna B

1 starWe signed a contract in April, work to be done in May, approximately 3 day job.The job was incomplete, sloppy and very unprofessional. It looked nothing like what we expected. The concrete coating was awful and we decided to have it painted a solid color instead of multicolored. Today is June 13 and were still waiting for job to be completed! This company changes their schedules on a whim and the customer is out of luck. When you pay for the job, youre at their mercy! I am very disappointed at that integrity and honesty of this company.Sharp manufacturing and contracting finally finished job on June 23rd. I am not satisfied with end result.Review fromDeborah B

1 star4-day job still ongoing 179 days.We have gone thru process ****************************** was issued a directive, but most items were deemed "min industry standards".The concrete does NOT look like their brochure or showroom.Stain has been compromised in sev areas so it's ********** walls,& other items were oversprayed w/stain.They tried to repair the paint, got paint on the concrete. This repeated several times.Septic system clean outs were covered w/concrete & had to be cleaned but are still cemented shut.Even with pics of the process, ROC says there is no 'proof' they are responsible since our house is 25 yrs old Our 'old' driveway is stained. We have before & after photos of their trucks leaking product, but that is not proof enough. They never covered pool, gouged the pebble tec off & left a ***** razor blade in pool.Concrete debris in navigator was excessive and had to take for repair twice.Drain in contract was to be steel, they used plastic, & sprayed w/stain.Had to be replaced.Finish around patio columns was rough, had to sand & resurface to try to *********** night we came home after dark & an emp was working in our backyard using his cell phone light! One emp. was on his phone constantly. Frustrated after mos of this, we asked him to hang up & focus on finishing,he THREW phone across our yard! This scared my ********* did not feel safe w him after his temperfit. Both of the mgrs were rude, insulting, aggressive, made personal attacks on us & lied about our attitudes. They refused our calls, told us not to email them & told us they could slow our job down. They did.We signed a contract & paid the down payment on June 10, & they did not start until 9/11/******* top it off, they took out a 20 day notice of lien a full 8 mos after they received our down payment and 4 mos after being paid over $33K in full. This is harassment.! We believe the stress of dealing with Sharp contributed to my husband's emergency heart surgery 3 weeks ago. This review doesn't begin to describe the nightmare.Review fromAndy B

3 starsUpdated from 01/01/2025 - someone hacked my account and left a misleading review, had to repost The project took longer than expected, unfortunately when unexpected personal issues arose for the workers. We have to remember we're dealing with people. The issue is we see the purchase as a concrete product and get frustrated when delays or problems occur. Then the staff has to walk a fine line making sure they back up the people doing the physical work. I understand this is labor intensive and takes a skill level. My complaint is I have an expectation when I pay for something and I see it done in phases due to delays, I get frustrated. I would recommend to anyone looking to do a landscape project, make sure you understand weather and personal things cause delays, if you got the flu, then someone in the landscape crew might get ill as well. Some crews are doing multiple jobs at once and your project will be done in phases. Things have to be set up and dry etc. Plan on getting the work done before you expect to use the yard to entertain. The second thing that came up is if you add or change any part of the project you will be charged extra, If you decide after work has started that you wanted your pergola to be on concrete pillars, then the cost will change and I felt it was higher than it should have been. I strongly suggest really going over the plans and making sure you're clear on what is included before finalizing the invoice.Review fromAndy B

1 starBelligerent, unscrupulous owner; stopped work whenever I questioned anything. Charged $6.5K more than agreed upon firm fixed price contract. Did not return phone calls; missed schedule dates without contacting us - continually lied.Four parts to the job:1. Replace tile on back patio/steps with stamped concrete; install two handrails.2. Extend courtyard decking and build a fireplace.3. Replace tile around fire pit with stamped concrete, build a pergola.4. Extend existing front driveway.Job originally quoted at 3 weeks; work started June 2024 and "completed" Jan 2025. Job Summary/Results:1. Back patio stamped concrete OK; looks nice. Steps were a disaster; six or seven attempts to get the height correct - top looks ok, matches patio. Vertical portion has little/no color and looks lousy. NO RAILINGS - MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE *** FOR 2 SENIOR CITIZENS; forgot to install sleeves prior to pouring concrete!2. Good job extending decking and building fireplace. Decking and fireplace were erected in June 2024, not finished until Jan 2025. Happy with results.3. Pergola was a fiasco; 3 attempts failed - left a disaster in my back courtyard with wood, screws and equipment. Told them to stop.4. Driveway extension; 1/3 poured June 2024; not completed until November 2024 - forgot to add color. Added color Jan 2025; not uniform - streaked.Recorded numerous conversations with owner - in person or on the phone. Totally unprofessional. The only reason they finished the job: got their attention when I contacted my bank and disputed credit card charges. I was prepared to go to the registrar of contractors and sue them. Once I "hurt them in the pocket book" the owner's attitude changed... To his credit, 9 months after the contract was signed, he tried to make things right. Unfortunately, too little, too late... why we never contacted them about the streaked driveway or lousy ********* positive - troops worked hard, were nice.We do not recommend Sharp.Review fromZach C

5 starsI had an awesome experience getting my pool deck completed. It was great from the very beginning when they came out for an estimate. I was able to ask all my questions and was left with an estimate that very same appointment! No waiting for several days like the other companies.I had a sketch of my work laid out for me, and was able to go to the showroom to check colors and styles in person. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!Review fromEd H

5 starsI absolutely LOVE Sharp Contracting. They truly understand the value of putting a customer first! They listened to my needs and desires and went above and beyond to ensure my utmost satisfaction. I could not ask for a better experience from start to finish. The office staff as super responsive and friendly. I never had any issues speaking to anyone. They gave me all the paperwork and information I needed throughout the project. They saved me time with an upfront transparent proposal, and the whole process was stress free! The concrete is an excellent product. It exceeded my expectations, and looks like a product that will stand the trial of time. It can be rare to find someone so open and trustworthy, but I know that I won't have any issues with Sharp Contracting. The workers were open, friendly, and available during the project. Every single person I spoke with was happy and I could tell they loved their jobs. We had a delay due to a bad storm in the area and they worked with me to make sure my job was protected and done in a professional and timely manner. Working with Sharp Contracting was a top notch experience, I have outstanding results, and would recommend them to anyone!Review fromAndrea N

5 starsI have never had such an amazing experience in my life. The estimator was incredibly knowledgeable about the products, and left me with no questions. My husband was super impressed with how everything was laid out for us. A packet was even left for us with all the information I could think of.The following week we went to the showroom, and I love seeing all the designs and samples in person. The office staff were happy and welcoming as well. I knew immediately that I could trust this company. When the crew came out they were on time, and went right to work. I watched and saw how efficiently they worked. There was even a windy storm and they handled it like absolute pros. I had questions about the product and they handled my questions with ease.A week after my job was completed I called back into the office and was greeted happily on the phone. I feel completely at ease knowing how responsive they are! I hope that others are able to find such an awesome experience that I had, and know that this truly is a wonderful company full of hardworking people.
