This company is a disappointing exercise in futility. I find it hard to believe that any worth while technician cannot follow simple directions yet this company seems to have only proficiency in laziness and repulsive customer service. When My HVAC unit broke down I had the due diligence to have a second opinion come in and inspect the unit before Air Command arrived (Who my home warranty contracted with). When the the Air Command technician arrived I asked them to inspect not only the compressor but the indoor air handler as well since there is a concern that the system is beyond its age limit (21 years). After only looking at the outdoor compressor for 15 minutes he came into to say that the reason that the unit wasn't working was that it was dirty and needed to be cleaned with acid. I once again asked him to inspect all parts of the system before coming to a premature conclusion. He stated that he didn't need to inspect because he knew what the problem was and refused to verify my concerns brought up by the second company. I then promptly told the technician to leave my property. When I called their main office to complain about the service, the receptionist only answered with "Ok". When asked if she was going to look into it, or even offer some consolation for the **** power work of her tech, she said that because she wasn't there she can't do anything. Obviously, heated low language was the only means to communicate with this woman. If your home warranty dispatches this company to your home for repair, dispute the assignment and request another company with reputation that in commensurate with a basically functioning company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! As some of the previous reviews, Air Command has no clue what they are doing, scam you on needing Freon and push the acid was cleaning. I went through my home warranty company and they assigned me to Air Command. ***** and another guy showed up on time on Friday at around 1015am. They diagnosed the problem, supposedly added 4 lbs of Freon and left with 20 minutes. They did not come into the house to check any temperatures of air coming in (should be ***** degree differential) and did not check for any leaks beyond right at the unit itself. Two hours after they left, my house, which was at 76 degrees when they left, was not at 93 degrees and rose to 97 degrees by 7pm. Calls to the company went unanswered the rest of the afternoon and did not receive any call back on Saturday or Sunday to try to resolved the problem *************** came in, replaced the capacitor that went kaput right after Air Command left, and had to add 5 lbs of Freon. A/C units do not need Freon if there are no leaks and the fact that Air Command said they added 4lbs is a joke. The fact that they did not come into my house or go into the attic for a complete diagnosis when this is what they are paid to do is unacceptable. The ** is to come to the house, "put in Freon" and get out within 20 minutes to get to the next house. Their customer service is terrible, they do NOT take responsibility for their customer at all. Run and run fast from this company!

      Dear BBB,
We appreciate the opportunity to respond to Mr. ***** concerns.

Our team was dispatched to Mr. ***** home through his home warranty provider. Our technicians arrived on time, conducted a standard diagnostic, and addressed the refrigerant levels as part of the service request. Its important to note that refrigerant adjustments are common in these scenarios and were performed in good faith based on the readings at the unit.

Mr. **** reached out to our office after normal business hours on Friday evening. We are not open over the weekend, and our office reopened at 9:00 AM on Monday, June 16th. By 11:00 AM, his warranty provider had already assigned a different service company at his request, and as a result, no return visit was scheduled with us.

We take pride in the professionalism of our technicians and our long-standing relationships with warranty providers. While we regret that Mr. **** was dissatisfied, we stand by the work performed during our visit. Our focus is always on providing timely, honest service that meets the expectations of both homeowners and our contractual partners.

Thank you for allowing us to address this matter.

In your reply, you said I called after business hours on Friday 6/13. That is a lie. Here is the exact time I called you on 6/13 with no answer or response.06/13/2025 03:28:47 PM ************ PHOENIX DT2 Furthermore, you mentioned you are not open on weekends so after I left a message at 328pm on Friday about my house being over 90 degrees and blowing hot, your company didn't give a **** to either call me to set up a new appt to fix the problem or come out right away, you were okay with a family and dog sitting in 97 degree heat. Also, You say you stand by your work???? My house was 97 degrees and blowing hot air after you left and supposedly added freon and did a diagnostic. Another lie, the only diagnostic you did was to break my capacitor, you faked adding Freon to my unit and then you left. The company that actually fixed it, actually came in the house to check the temp of the vents (you didn't ask, nor did you come in the house to check the temp on anything). You also did not check for leaks, where the freon can escape. If you knew anything about a/c units, you would know that it should not need Freon unless there is a leak someplace, which you didn't check for at all. Your diagnostic is a joke and you take advantage of being in the warranty system. The fact that I called my warranty company to get someone out Immediately as we live in the desert of ******* is not unreasonable at all, what is unreasonable is that you did not call back Friday afternoon after I called and left a message and also that you did not call on Monday morning to apologize for my unit pushing out hot air and my house being 97 degrees.Your company is a joke and is only out to get in, get out, fake like you did anything, offer acid wash for $200 and most likely break my a/c unit on purpose so you can come back to fix what you broke. There was ZERO chance I was or will ever let someone from your company touch my AC unit again. Horrible service, horrible customer service and no call to apologize. If your warranty company assigns Air Command to your house, you should just say no and find someone else. Air Command has zero command of their business and everyone should STAY AWAY.
