I think the people that work there are terrific. My old computer was put to rest; they got my info transferred to my new machine. When I had a problem with the new one, they were extremely helpful in getting me the assistance I needed. I am 80 and somewhat disabled. They bring the desktop in from the car and out again when my problem is resolved. I am a pc dinosaur and they explain things in terms I can understand.

Many many days off frustration and no satisfaction,y laptop was not repairable, ok understood, so they sell me a machine. Once home I find the power supply is dead. I return for help and suddenly they are not so helpful, then they heldy old computer with my data hostage, I had to call the local police as I now had some fear for my safety. Goty hard drive back but so for no refund for a machine I don't have and service not received. Beware I think there business model is to prey on us old folks.

******************,You did indeed bring in a computer that had an issue that was not something that we could fix. At that time we did have a refurb that we suggested putting your hard drive in so that we could get a machine that worked. The refurb worked at time of sale and as the paperwork that was presented to you stated our refurbs are sold As Is which make them non refundable. However, I did not want to leave you hanging with a computer that works. We unfortunately did not have the part we needed to fix the power supply. We did order it. When it comes in we can fix that computer or as I stated when we talked that I have a better computer that I can put you in and that offer still stands. As for the police incident, I spoke to you that morning and let you know I was headed to ******* from the *************** to investigate what was going on. I also informed you the only one that was at the office was a new girl who would not be able to assist you very much. You quit responding when I asked for the morning to research. The next thing I knew my 20 year old new hire was calling me crying scared bc you were upset and threating to call the police. She told me you had stepped outside and asked if she could like the door because she was scared. I allowed it and continued on the trip up. After speaking to the police later on the phone they informed me you wanted to pay whatever you owed and just wanted your hard drive. After researching the issue, as I discussed with you when I spoke to you, you had been in possession of the drive the whole time. You stated twice that you did not want any computers from us even though you had paid for one. You called back the next day asking me to look over the ticket and to get back to you with any thoughts on a middle ground. You told me to take a few days no problem. You choose to give a bad review instead of waiting for a response. At this time the solution I am prepared to offer is to put you in a different refurbished machine. Please let me know if this is something your interested in.

*****, I honestly do understand your frustrations. When buying a new computer it is normally assumed that the computer is going to be in good condition without issues. Unfortunately that is not always the case. We do occasionally have customers come in with the same type of issue you had with this laptop. It can take a few different tries for us to make the call that the computer is in need of replacement because there are times that we can install driver fixes that correct the problem. However, in this computer's case the fact that it kept kicking the drivers after it was taken home leads us to believe it is an issue with the computer. Due to you being in your return window it made the most sense to return it and for us to set up the new computer the way that we had that one. During the phone calls and in person conversations on Aug 4 we had, I did state we could not refund the service because it had been completed. According to our terms and conditions that are signed at the time of drop off once any software work is completed we do not offer refunds. We have already purchased the software such as the antivirus that we had placed on the machine. With this being said I was very clear from the beginning we would do this same service on a new computer for no additional charge. I wanted to make things right for you. During the in person conversation on the 4th you were very upset, and while I do understand that you were frustrated, it was difficult to have a productive conversation with you regarding the situation. Your ticket is still noted that we will perform the New Computer set up for you as soon as you bring in a new computer for no additional charge.

Being wronged is not what I paid for..then blamed for all of it when I want a resolution..I have no laptop..and decline the offer of " starting up my next new laptop at no charge" can't blame me. I brought a new computer into into your business to have my program installed.Your representative stated I needed a tune on my computer. I asked why I needed a tune up when I just bought the computer yesterday and downloaded all necessary files from ********** Fact is I didn't need a tune up. 5 days later I pick my computer up and a very heavy set guy was extremely rude. Way I see you owe me money and I will continue to share my experience with everyone...

I saw your posting and want to address this complaint. I have taken the time to review the ticket as well as the camera footage. The computer was brought into the shop for a program install and due to the updates and program issues that were arising our technician suggested a software update to do the job correctly. You chose to move forward with that suggestion and paid to have the service. The job was done and completed. We called you for pick up and left a voicemail. The next day you came in and picked up the computer. You looked at the screen and didnt see the icon for your program that was clearly on the home screen. When you asked about the icon **** explained he wasnt sure he hadnt worked on your computer. You then started to get loud about how the job wasnt done. When he looked at your computer he showed you where the icon was you grabbed your computer and walked out the door while shouting obscenities to a lobby full of people. If we had not been able to preform the service I would have refunded you with no problem. However, that is not the case. Computer Nerds
