1-Star Review for Horne Mazda ******** / Horne ********** We purchased a 2020 ***** Bolt EV from Horne Mazda ********, and the experience has been extremely disappointing.Shortly after purchase, we discovered a severe issue with the radiator fan, which causes the car to make a very loud, mechanical noise during cooling. Even more concerning, when the A/C is turned on, the vehicle's estimated mileage drops by ***** miles, which is far beyond normal and points to a major inefficiency in the cooling system. When we brought the car in for service, two failed components were confirmed during their inspection -- confirming there were multiple serious issues with the vehicle. These issues were clearly present before we purchased the vehicle and should have been flagged during their so-called 160-point inspection.Instead, they sold us the vehicle without disclosing any of these problems. Had we been told upfront, we could have made an informed decision -- either negotiated repairs into the price or walked away from a vehicle that likely has over $1,000 in hidden ********** make matters worse, customer service has been dismissive and unhelpful. Instead of addressing the situation responsibly, they've refused to offer any meaningful assistance or make this right. We've been left feeling misled, disappointed, and stuck with a vehicle that should have never been sold in its current condition.Transparency matters. Honesty matters. This dealership failed on both. The thing that was completely unprofessional was when we were forced to provide a 5 star review. I believe our sales person was named *****. Please double check with your records to see who sold us the vehicle. Under the duress of pure psychological pressure he quote said I need you to complete the five star review before you leave. I need you to do it right now.I was forced while under duress to literally fill out the review right in front of him before I was even able to leave.

*****- We had multiple people involved in your vehicle and there is nothing wrong with the customer. There is just an upgraded system in the car and the fan noise is normal. It is an electric vehicle, and you are more than welcome to verify that with a chevy dealer. We did a 160- point inspection and we did not force you to buy the car. We also did not force you to write a review. I'm sorry if you think that but we do not force any customers to write a review prior to buying a car. Using the words Force is not acceptable when you have the option to walk away at anytime during the negotiation process. We did not force you to buy a car nor did we force you to write a review.

***, I'm sorry you had a bad experience but we never saw your trade. I'm sure you wouldn't buy something without seeing it. If you have time we can sit down in person and go over the numbers and see if your open to selling your trade privately or working a deal on our car. But being a dealer executive you would know every dealer charges a doc fee. If you have time we can discuss it in person to see what we can do for you. I am more than happy to sell you our vehicle without adds but doc fee is something dealers charge to process your paperwork.

Contacted dealer on 6/19 to get their best OTD pricing on a new Mazda CX-50 that was in transit and due to be delivered within a week. Their website showed the **** of $43404, a discount of $5133, and dealer add-ons of $2296. In addition, the website presented an additional offer for $500 off new vehicle purchase. They replied with a proposal containing that same information. I agreed to come in and get my trade evaluated and finalize a deal if it met my bottom line trade requirement - which they reluctantly did. We had a deal, and waited for delivery of the vehicle.Upon arrival of the vehicle on 6/25, it was determined the ACTUAL **** on the vehicle was not $43404, but $43005 instead. I asked for the proposal **** to be updated so the actual numbers matched and they refused. They immediately tried to downplay the deal we had made. They have said "The **** on the car has nothing to do with what you're buying the car for" and "You are buying the car below what we have advertised."First - **** is the first and largest number on the proposal they provided. So to say that it has nothing to do with the price is total fabrication and obviously false. Second - The proposal contains all of THEIR numbers, from their website, as they advertised to the general public on 6/19. The ****, discounts, add-ons, doc fee - all from their website and proposal. So to say that the purchase is below what they have advertised is yet another lie. Finally, they updated the **** on the proposal - HOWEVER - they then changed the entire deal - removing discounts/trade - and refused to stand by their original deal. They want me to pay MORE than what we had agreed to in order to complete the purchase (for a vehicle that has a lower **** value!) They are doing a switch at the last minute. They are using INFLATED VALUES to lure people to the dealer to then CHANGE the deal and try and get more money from the consumer once they try to delivery. Shame on them - walk away!

We brought our 2018 Mazda Cx9 in for repair. The service advisor made comments of the rear shock being blown as well as other parts needed to be changed. Focusing on the rear shocks though, they are not blown if they were there would be uneven tire wear and that didn't occur. Tires on the car as well as brakes, oil changes are maintained ion a regular basis, (we have ***** miles on the car)This is fraudulent information on the part of the dealership. and attempting to overcharge a customer ~750 dollars. This is a classic ripoff scheme. Thankfully, although I am not a trained mechanic by trade, I have some automotive knowledge under my belt over the years. My concern is for customers that would not have that knowledge and just get taken by this and (possibly) other dealerships as well.
