    To whom it may concern,I am writing to complain about the business practices of Dentists of Apache Junction. 95 ********** #***, Apache Junction, ** ***** ************ I went there on October 16, 2023. This is my experience. Theyll take x-rays, get you in a chair and theyll have you sign a credit card application before anything is done. Then they will tell you they would like to get a procedure in your first visit, before submitting anything to insurance for approval mind you.I went in for an exam and to get a tooth pulled. First, they put on my new credit card a $400+ charge even before a procedure was done. (to be fair, they took it off) Second, they put on that card another $662 for something I did not want or need, especially not knowing the price! (the dentist even said the jawbone looked good)All I wanted was a tooth pulled, which he did, and without telling me the price they sold me on putting some tiny pebbles in the hole and then sewing something on top, which fell off a week later before I was supposed to go back in a another week. Youre sitting there with your mouth open, bleeding, what are you supposed to do or try to say?I feel this experience was completely underhanded. I called corporate first, Smile Generation, to complain. They said call that dentist, which I did. She admitted they knew insurance wouldnt cover that procedure / pebbles. She also said they got paid already, discuss it with the credit card company. Basically too bad ****** I refuse to pay this $662 and I want that credit account closed. I believe they get you in the chair to sign something so you can get paying interest on a credit card, in my opinion. One more thing. They don't even give you extra gauze pads or a receipt when walking out. I had to ask for paperwork. Unbelievable!They all were very friendly though.     I paid for services that haven't been completed. i cancelled the appointment and asked for my money back. I have been calling for over a month now and still haven't received a check.
