On July 18, 2012, the BBB wrote Bruk Credit Restoration Services at 2508 Osage, State University, Arkansas 72467. This was the address listed on the Limited Liability Company information on this business obtained from the Arkansas Secretary of State's office. BBB wrote Omar Barrett in his capacity as the Incorporator/organizer of Bruk Credit Restoration Services. In said letter, BBB asked certain questions in order to obtain reliable information about the business and the services it offers. Mr. Barrett was asked to explain why he also holds himself out as Omar Kareem Bruk. He was asked if he had any background, experience or training in finance or economics. He was asked about certain claims on the Bruk Credit website regarding "restoration of credit" and any fees charged by Bruk Credit. The letter was returned as there was no mail receptacle at the address. The letter was resent to a post office box in Roswell, Georgia that was also listed on the Bruk Credit website. On August 1, Omar Bruk called the BBB to speak to the Trade Practices Specialist that had sent him the letter. He said that he wanted to discuss it. He was advised that he needed to respond to the letter in writing. He said that he would. On September 7, Omar Bruk was written a follow up letter that was sent to the Roswell, Georgia address in which he was reminded that he had not responded to the July 18 letter. He was also asked if Bruk Credit Restoration is still doing business in Arkansas. Further, he was asked if he was the same Omar Bruk that was holding himself out as an "entrepreneur and investor in the Greater Chicago area" on LinkedIn. Mr. Bruk did not respond to the September 7 letter. Finally, a recent examination of the records of the Arkansas Secretary of State reveals that the LLC created by Bruk Credit Restoration and Solutions has been revoked.
