On Friday May 24,2024 I contacted Temperature Pro about coming out out and fixing my AC unit. I have a warranty company but they were unable to get in touch with the people at Temperature Pro ( the place the warranty company picked for us )
I was told on that Friday by an employee of Temperature Pro that they would come to my home on the following Tuesday the28th.
On Tuesday an employee of Temperature Pro came and spent approximately 20 minutes looking at my outside unit and then he sent a younger man into the attic to look at the indoor part of the ac. That young boy took pictures..
The employee came back in and told me that that in his opinion we needed a whole new unit. He mentioned specific components that were bad or going bad., and that our duct work was needing fixed also. That it was going to be an extensive long repair. He appeared very uninterested in doing it but said he would call the warranty company and see if they will pay for the replacement.
I paid them the 75$ service charge and then I waited. I don't know what he said to them, but they refuse to pay for the replacement. I asked the Temperature Pro employee to find out how much it will cost to fix either the whole unit or as he suggested the compressor alone. Another words ... now he said he could just replace the compressor and therefore the ac would work with a new compressor even though he previously said the whole unit was shot..
The warranty company's reason for denying my " replacement " was because they were told the whole thing needed replacing and I didn't have the maintenance records to show them. IF THE TEMPERATURE PRO TECHNICIAN WOULD HAVE TOLD THE TRUTH THAT IT WOULD WORK AGAIN WITH A NEW COMPRESSOR ... I WOULDN'T NEED MAINTENANCE RECORDS AND THEY WOULDVE APPROVED THE REQUEST. was then told by technician that he would let me know the compressor cost out of pocket. His boss hasnt replied in 2 days now. Messaged them several times. I want $75 refund

I recently filed a complaint and scam alert against Temperature Pro of Springdale Arkansas. . They refuse to respond. I understand your rules....However. I just received new information. We had a different HVAC technician come out from another different company. They will be putting in writing that my AC unit IS NOT TOTALED as we were told by the Temperature Pro technician. But of course because the temperature Pro technician ,DID NOT EVEN GO UP IN THE ATTIC TO LOOK AT THE UNIT.. our compressor is needing to be replaced, but that is all. THE TECHNICIAN LIED not only to me but to our warranty company who wasn't going to replace the whole unit as the technician put as the problem because we were missing the recent maintenance report..BUT THEY WOULD HAVE replaced the compressor....im.livid But more of a disappoint. WEVE BEEN OUT FOR OVER 37 DAYS IN VERY HOT WEATHER. Again I have COPD. This could be life threatening..( I did get a window unit ) Please please try to help one more time. Thank you so much for at least listening in case something comes up ******* *******
