1 starExtremely Disappointing Experience – Ongoing Since February 2025
My experience with Hanks Fine Furniture has been everything but smooth. I would not recommend anyone purchase from this company based on what I’ve encountered.
Since February 2025, I’ve been trying to get a warped door issue resolved. Over the past five months, I’ve made multiple calls, provided photos, followed up with corporate representatives, and even reached out to executive leadership. Despite all efforts, no resolution has been provided, and the door remains unrepaired.
This has involved:
• Multiple contacts with store management and corporate representatives
• Repeated clarification that the issue is not mechanical, but structural.
• A proposed service fee to inspect a problem that was already clearly identified.
• Direct escalation to senior and executive leadership — with still no follow-through.
This situation is a clear failure in what the company promotes as “service after the sale.” The lack of accountability and response over such a simple yet visible issue has been incredibly frustrating.
If this is how long and difficult it is to get help after a purchase, I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with Hanks Fine Furniture.Review fromCorey G

1 starStay away far away. Products do not last over a year and if they do and you by an extended warranty for repairs, well you just got scammed. My couch is crooked, gapped, and flat out uncomfortable. Guardian protection company and Hanks is a joke. Reached out multiple times to both places with no results besides a broke couch that cost 1900.00. So unless you got money to toss away I’d find another store.Review fromChris S

1 starOrdered a sectional couch in December and was delivered in March , when delivered one of the electric recliners did not work, took a bit for tech to make repair visit and when he did arrive determined it had bad switch. Said replacement switch would be delivered in May, they came yesterday to replace the bad switch and advised that it was wrong switch ordered and they would let us know when correct switch could be deliveredHank's Furniture, Inc.

1 starI purchased furniture from hanks in January when it was delivered 80% of the furniture delivered was damaged. The delivery company was the ones that pointed the damage out and told me they wouldn’t sign for anything so I didn’t and they left the furniture and said I would have a replacement within a couple of weeks. Well here we are almost 4 months later and now the main office told me there is nothing they can do to contact the store I bought it from directly. Well they are no help either keep being told “parts” are ordered. For what? I bought new furniture and I have to get NEW furniture repaired. Totally not setting well with me. I spent almost $20,000 with them and upfront told me they will always take care of me which was **. Now I get the run around from them. I guess if this don’t help I will be seeking legal help in small claims court. You don’t mess with my money. We bought almost a full house set of furniture and can’t even get it replaced. DO NOT SHOP AT HANKS IN LITTLE ROCK!!!Hank's Furniture, Inc.

Dear Mr. ********,
Thank you for your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear about your experience, and we understand how frustrating this situation has been — especially after making such a significant purchase.
Our delivery policy requires all merchandise to be inspected at the time of delivery, and any visible damage must be noted on the sales order. We appreciate that our delivery team acted appropriately by identifying the damage and advising you not to sign for the items. We also want to clarify that detailing of furniture after delivery is a common and accepted practice in the furniture industry. Our delivery personnel are trained to perform minor repairs or touch-ups in your home, and we reserve the right to repair merchandise at our discretion when appropriate, hence the parts that are on order. While we make every effort to deliver professionally, we are not liable for damage to flooring, including wood, tile, or carpet, unless negligence is proven. In this case, the third-party delivery personnel took care of the damages to your floor.
We understand the delays in replacement parts or service are frustrating. We do apologize for we have no control over the delay on merchandise that is being shipped to us.
Sincerely,

1 starIf I could leave zero stars I would. I purchased my furniture from Hank's and within two weeks it was broken. I called to complain and they said it would be repaired by the end of the week. Never heard back from them so I called the next week and they said that they would order the parts. Now a month and half later they still haven't repaired the furniture nor did I hear from them. I called again and they said that the part would be in June 20, 2025 and that they were too busy to call and let us know what is going on, that this is not their responsibility. I did request new furniture instead today and they said absolutely not I was going to have to wait. Over the years I have purchased several couches, bedrooms suites, etc. and have never had an issue however their service has completely gone downhill and I will never do business with them again and will never recommend them to anyone. When I purchased my couch there was another customer in the store complaining about their furniture, loudly of course and I should have heeded their warning but I have never had any issues until now. DO NOT PURCHASE anything from them.Hank's Furniture, Inc.

1 starNEVER! NEVER! USE THEM!! They are horrible and do not honor what they say. We had a issues with our sofa and they said they would contact us back and NEVER HEARD a word! WE bought a sofa that looked beige in the store. Once home it was gray. We had this delivered on Friday and called them Monday. We went into the store met with Mark the manager who said he would get with his corporate office and let us know if we could switch it out. We offered to even pay restocking fee. One month later and no response from anyone. I even called corporate and told they would email me back. No response. I called and asked about even getting the insurance on the furniture reimbursed because we wouldn't use it and guess what NO!
They are not FINE Furniture they only FINE people who want to believe that!!

Dear Ms. ****,
We sincerely apologize for the experience you’ve described and truly regret the frustration it has caused. We want to assure you that this is not the level of service we strive to provide.
Regarding the restocking process, our policy allows for restocking fees only once a pickup or delivery is scheduled and the merchandise has left our distribution center but has not yet been delivered to a customer’s home. In this instance, because the sofa was already delivered, the restocking procedures no longer apply.
We deeply regret the breakdown in communication and appreciate you bringing this to our attention.Review fromDerek T

1 starIt really takes a lot for me to leave a bad review. I've worked in the retail industry for years and understand things happen. But my experience with the Rogers, Arkansas store was very disappointing.
So started off with Josh (no longer at the Rogers Store), I will say at first he was a great salesman. He wasn't pushy and was very pleasant to deal with. We picked out 2 sofas. He did advise it would take a month to come in. During the month I didn't receive any updates. After a month I called the store and was advised Josh was no longer at that store that he had been relocated to another store. Then the person I was talking looked up my account and said your sofas have been here for some time. So there was a lack of communication from the store. So after speaking with the store they had Josh call me since he was the salesman. He promised me that the furniture would be delivered no later than 10am on Wednesday morning, and that he was going to refund my delivery charge. Wednesday morning at 10am I had not seen the delivery truck nor had I received a phone call from Hank's or the delivery truck. So I called the store and spoke with a manager. She advised they had not spoken to Josh about having my delivery here by 10am, and that it wasn't possible. She basically 100% admitted that was a lie. Also I asked her about my refund of my delivery fee. She said he had not submitted it. She went ahead and submitted it for me. So in closing of this review I will never be using Hank's furniture ever again. I just hope the sofas are better than the customer service.Hank's Furniture, Inc.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear that your delivery experience didn’t meet your expectations.
We want to assure you that our team worked hard behind the scenes to accommodate your request for a Wednesday delivery—even though this was outside our usual delivery schedule. While we did our best to meet your preferred delivery time of 10AM, we explained that we couldn’t guarantee it due to the timing of our truck arriving from Little Rock. That said, our crew was able to pull your merchandise as soon as it came off the truck and get it delivered by approximately 10:50AM.
We truly appreciate your business and are always looking for ways to improve communication so that all expectations are aligned from the beginning. If there’s anything further, we can do to assist you, please don’t hesitate to reach out directly.

1 starmy wife and I have bought from here twice and won't do so again. The first time we bought an adjustable bed and mattress. They said they had both in stock. We were in her car and were only gonna browse at first. So we went home grabbed my truck and went back to pick it up. Neither the frame or mattress were there. They apologized and said it would be there in a couple weeks. 3 months later we got the mattress and it took another month for the frame.
The second time we ordered a couch with chaise and a chair. They didn't have it in stock so they told us they would order it and we would see it in 8 weeks. At 8 weeks we called and they said oh it should be at our warehouse we will message our delivery people and set up a time. They gave us the run around for another couple weeks. This week we were told it 100% would be out for delivery and they would let us know the exact date. We went ahead and took a few days off each from work during the week so we could be home just in case. Around Wednesday they let us know it was coming in on Saturday and that's when it would be delivered. Here we are Saturday, we called them to ask when it would be arriving and their response was they don't know where it is and that they haven't heard anything about it being delivered.

1 starTerrible company. Terrible experience. We even tried getting help using BBB but the store manager lied about the situation and caused that not to happen. All we wanted was a refund on the warranty since it was obviously not helpful. We thought it was a small request considering all we have dealt with. PLEASE do NOT buy from this company.Hank's Furniture, Inc.

Dear Ms. *****,
We want to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with us at Hanks. Our primary goal is always to ensure that our customers are happy and satisfied, and we truly regret that we did not meet your expectations in this case.
We would like to take a moment to clarify our warranty policy, which states that all warranty purchases are non-refundable. When you made your purchase, you signed an agreement acknowledging this policy, which is also noted on your sales order and receipt.
The Furniture Life One Plan warranty that you purchased covers materials and labor to repair furniture that becomes accidentally damaged during normal residential use or is affected by defects as detailed in the Product Specific Coverage section of the plan. We have attached a copy of the terms and conditions you received when purchasing the warranty, with the relevant sections highlighted to explain why your claim was unfortunately denied.
In regard to the comment about the manager, we are sorry that there was any confusion. The misunderstanding arose from the warranty form, where it was indicated that the damage was caused during delivery. However, since you picked up the furniture directly from our warehouse and no delivery was handled by Hanks, there was some confusion about whether a third-party delivery service was involved.
While we understand that the scuff on your couch was reported the day after your furniture was set up, it unfortunately does not fall under the warranty coverage. As stated in our policy, when customers choose to pick up their items in-store, it is important to inspect all furniture at the time of pickup, and any damages should be noted at that time. The signed pick-up ticket we have on file confirms this process was followed.
We truly regret any frustration this has caused, and we want to express our gratitude for your business. Thank you for being a valued customer of Hanks, and we appreciate your understanding.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.Review fromkevin M
