They were very responsive and answered all of my questions completely. I had water coming into my home from under my slab . They came out and assist the situation and explained exactly what was happening and what needed to be done to rectify the situation. They quoted me a certain price, but worked within my budget and ended up giving me a huge discount. I will definitely recommend them. Customer service was above and beyond. And I believe they truly lived up to their name.Review from Kim H

Cedric and his crew did an excellent job creating a beautiful new stone patio in my backyard. He brought in a lot of extra gravel and rock to deal with a drainage issue I had and it has taken care of the problem. In addition, they tore out old, rotten landscape border in some flower beds and replaced it with much more attractive block border. They took a rundown, depressing area of my yard and gave it a refreshing and updated new look! I will definitely call on them again!Review from T. S.

DO NOT HIRE!! I waited 4 months for them to come switch out the original 1.25” PVC connected to our sump pump for 2” PVC and run it to the street about 50-60 feet. I would call every other week to see when they were coming, and Cedric would say the same thing every time, “We’ll get to you in the next couple of weeks. We’ve got you on the calendar.” Finally they came out, and charged me way more than what was agreed to, and didn’t even replace all of the 1.25” PVC that was requested. Only way I found that out was when the pipe clogged from them dumping all the extra gravel back into the sump basin that I had intentionally taken out. When I went to dig up the pipe to see what was going on, he left about 6’ of 1.25” PVC and connected the other end to a 2” PVC to make it appear as though he had replaced all of it. He intentionally left out that information, and did not mention this to me AT ALL. He also didn’t completely bury the cable from the sump pump in conduit. Instead, he buried about 10” in conduit, and buried the remainder of the cord underground without any type of conduit or weather protection. Originally agreed to $400 for the PVC plus labor, and $250 for the poor job they did on laying sod. He tried charging $350 for the sod, but when I told him I didn’t want it, he went down to $250 to “cut me a deal.” Now he’s trying to charge me over $1,300 for everything. They also left their cigarette butts in my yard. The payment on my card WILL NOT go through until he makes this right and agrees to the original quote.Going the Extra Mile Landscape and Lawn Maintenance, LLC Response

We were contacted by Mr. Todd S**** to inspect a drainage problem he was having. Water was getting into the addition to his home. When we arrived to accommodate Mr. S****, we notice that drainage work had already been done to try to address the problem. The drainage effort attempt was very unprofessional and very incompetent. A french drain had been installed to drain water up hill to try relieve the home of the water it was taking in. After the assessment of this situation, we conveyed to Mr. S****, that the drainage was unprofessional and that he needs to contact the company that installed it. He stated, “that he had made several attempts to and that he just wanted it done correctly”. Mr. S**** was informed the existing drain will have to be removed and installed correctly along with a flo-well/ sump pump to get the water and up and over the hill. Mr. S**** agreed, and stated again, “just want it done right”. We agreed upon he plan and a price. We came back out to commenced the project. We installed the flo-well at the source of the water problem with ¾ ton sump pump along a 1” discharged line. On the electrical phase we wanted to install a conduit to the power source to prevent any shortages but to keep cost down Mr. S**** suggested a waterproof method for the splice and proceed with the direct burial of the power cord. The project was completed to the home owner’s satisfaction, drainage system was functioning. Payment was received. A hard rain had come after a couple weeks of the install and Mr. S**** had phone in and stated, “that the system was no longer working and that he someone out right away”. We came out as quickly as possible to investigate the system. The system had no power therefore was no longer functioning. After looking the system over we concluded that the waterproofing method and the direct burial of the power cord was not going to suffice. We updated Mr. S**** about the system and that the power cord will need to be in conduit. Mr. S**** agreed and we rounded up the materials, installed them and the system was back up and running. During the process of installing the new materials Mr. S**** had thought the ¾ ton sump pump was not removing the water fast enough. He asked, “were there larger pumps”? we responded, that the company we got the sump pump from only carries ¾ ton pumps. So, payment was made for the additional work and customer was satisfied. We received another call yet again from Mr. S****, stating the pump has failed. We immediately went back out to accommodated Mr. S**** to find the problem with pump. The pump had a clog, while in the process of cleaning the pump Mr. S**** advise that we install a 1 ton sump pump from harbor Freight that he had purchased to try remove the water faster. We accommodated Mr. s**** and installed the pump at no charge with exception he given us the ¾ ton pump. Yet again, we received another call from Mr. S**** stating that the pump had failed again. We immediately went back out to see what could have possibly went wrong at this point. When we arrived, it appeared that the pump had been tampered with and missing parts. So, we proceeded to repair the pump back after having to get more parts for the pump. Pump was back up and operational. No charge to Mr. S****. We received yet another call from Mr. S**** pertaining to the drainage system. He was wanting to know, why wasn’t the water still not moving fast as he would like. So we notified him that since having gone up from a ¾ ton to a 1 ton pump that the discharge line may need to be increase as well. He stated, that it makes sense and what would be the cost of the work. Initially he was quoted via phone call 375.00. he agreed to the price and asked when would we be able to commence. He was told maybe a week or two. He responded, let’s do it. Thanks “Mental Note” we started working with Mr. S**** in the winter just before spring. Our work load had gotten a lot heavier so, needlessly to say two weeks whisk by. We received a call from Mr. S**** in regards to his project, he wanted to know when were we going to get started installing the discharged line. We informed him that we had gotten really busy and that it would a couple more weeks before we could get back out. Mr. S**** said, ok and thanks. Mr. S**** call a couple more times and was informed that as soon as we can we will be back out. Needlessly to say the work load did not lessen and Mr. S**** was yet again informed that we are trying to get back out to install the discharge line. While talking to Mr. S**** each time he seemed to understand our position at the time. Considering his system was functioning but not as fast as he would like. The time has finally arrived to complete Mr. S**** discharge line. We phone Mr. S**** to notify him of our arrival date and time. He was happy to hear of our coming out. Once we arrive, we noticed that the pump had been tampered with again and that due to quote via phone the price is not reflecting an amount that’s deemed worthy for the task at hand. Meaning, the entire system had to be redone again! Everything had to be ripped out and replaced and since it was in the summer verses the winter the grass had to be replaced. It was starting over all over again. The price was increased to 3x the phone quote and Mr. s**** agreed to price. We performed the work and since the discharged line increased from 1”to 2” we decided not to do the 4’ underneath the side walk and did 2” on the other side to have a larger opening. After the work was completed the Mr. S**** appeared to be satisfied and made a credit card payment on the agreed amount. After leaving Mr. S**** Property about 30 minutes later we received a call from Mr. S**** asking why we didn’t go underneath the side walk and that it has already clogged and that he has cancelled payment or the work. We responded to Mr. S**** that we were turning back around to address any issues that he did not like. He stated, that’s ok I have already repaired it and we was not to get payment unless we agreed to the initial quote. So we agreed, to meet his satisfaction. Not realizing he has left a bad review. We were in a meeting with a potential client, she had gone to the bbb.org site to check on some reviews of ours to cement a business deal. We came across the Mr. S****’s review. Of course we explained everything to the potential client and seemed not too convinced. So, we phoned Mr. S**** and notified him that we were with a potential client that want clarification on our work ethic and business acumen. He stated, ok. We asked, we thought you satisfied and everything was ok? He stated, sure! He was asked would he be so kind to remove the review and he stated, sure am going to do it right now. We replied, thank you! The potential client became a lifetime client and even said, call her aunt. Needless to say, Mr. S**** did not remove the review like he told us he would. So, we reached to the better business bureau to help with this matter. They reached out to Mr. S**** who once again said, he was satisfied but want to keep up the review. He was phone by us once more and was told, we have to reply to the review and he said, that’s ok I’ll be glad to get this behind him. Once you guys reply I will take it down. I had not tampered with any drainage systems until the very end when they came out to reinstall the bigger discharge pipe. I only messed with it because the work they had done wasn’t sufficient and I would not have known that they misled me unless I checked their work. To my surprise, the work they were supposed to do wasn’t done to the full extent. Therefore, I was not willing to pay the new price they told me, especially considering I had to do the more labor intensive work myself by digging the pipe underneath the sidewalk. I personally will not be taking this off the BBB complaints site. However, I did pull the Google Review down, but I will be happy to put it back up with photo evidence if needed. Thank you.Review from Lugene S
