We paid one-half in Nov. we haven’t heard from them except when we call. They say they cannot get the material. I’m wondering if I’ll ever get it. I’m going to the AG of Ark if it take another month.Business Response

ON 9/28/23 WE SIGNED A CONTRACT WITH BATH MAKEOVER OF ARKANSAS FOR A COMPLETE BATH MAKEOVER. WE WENT WITH THEM AS THEY PROMISED QUICKER COMPLETTION THAN WE HAD BEEN TOLD BY OTHER VENDORS. ITS BEEN A YEAR NOW AND THE JOB IS STILL NOT COMPLETED AS THE SHOWER INSTALLED STILL LEAKS. THEY HAVE MADE DOZENS OF LIES, NON TRUTHS, LACK OF COMMUNICATIONS AND OUTRIGHT LIES UP TILL NOW AND STILL THE SHOWER LEAKS. THEY DIDNT FOLLOW THE ORIGINAL FLOOR PLAN WE WANTED AND EVERYTHING ELSE HAS BEEN A DISASTER! THEY CONTINUE TO SAY IT WAS OUR CHOICE OF THE SHOWER THAT CAUSES LEAKS WHERE IT WAS THEIR INSTALLATION THAT IS FAULTY HERE. THEY CONTINUE TO TRY AND COLLECT THE REMAINING BALANCE OF $1000.00 WHEN I REFUSE TO PAY AS THE SHOWER STILL LEAKS. I HAVE TRYIED TO SPEAK TO OTHER RESPONSIBLE PARTIES WITHIN THE COMPANY BUT NO LUCK AS OUR SALEMAN RESIGNED DUE TO IMPROPER CUSTOMER HANDLING AND THE PRODUCTION MANAGER COURTNY IS SO CAUGHT UP WITH HER AUTHORITY, SHE WONT FORWARD PHONE CALLS TO RESOLVE THIS SITUATION. THIS COMPANY IS FRAUDLULENT AND SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO CONTUNUE TO DUPE THE PUBLIC WITH FALSE ADVERTISING AND DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTICES.Business Response

The primary issue is that the shower door is frameless, which makes for a stylish look but they are not going to be 100% leak proof. The customer wanted this type of door and that is what was installed, they have not even paid the $1,000 for the door so I'm not sure how I would offer a refund.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:The response is false as on 9/28/23 we signed a contract in front of *** the salesman stating the we did not want a door, only an opening for us to walk into the shower from the back side.
People also knowing we didn't want a door are: ********(production manager), *****(inventory manager), both of whom stood in our bathroom and went over details with my wife.
People also knowing about the door are of course ***, the salesman, ***, manager of ********** ***** and *****, installation tech from ********* *****.
Bathroom makeover changed the entire footprint on the initial visits where we were out of town and had the neighbor let them in. Am I entitled to a refund? After waiting almost 13 months and still living with a shower where we have to mop the floor after every shower. You be the judge.
These people should not be allowed to do business this way, bullying people, not honoring promises and in general practicing business in a horrible manner. Since this nightmare started, I have inquired around and could have gotten a shower that doesn't leak for much much less.

We regret the dissatisfaction you've expressed and take this matter seriously. While our records indicate the frameless shower door was part of the agreed design, we understand there may have been a misunderstanding and are committed to reviewing the contract and communications to address your concerns. The frameless door that was installed is more prone to leak by design, but it was installed properly. Again, after reviewing, the remaining balance of $1,000 remains due per the contract terms, as we have fulfilled our part of the contract. Please contact us directly to discuss this matter.Initial Complaint

We were considering a bath remodel. The salesman told us that our card would not be ran until we gave a go ahead on the job. If we changed our mind there was no problem.
He said they would do a welcome call and at that time we could say preceed or not proceed.
They ran our card for $6900. I contacted the salesman and he said it was to verify funds only and it would stay pending until we gave the go ahead. When they called we said we decided not to move forward and they said they were keeping our money. We received no service and materials were not ordered for our job. They called on the 4th day, then said we only had three days to cancel. Then they ran the card that night after my husband told them not to. They refuse to return our money. We do not trust this company at this point. I am currently working with my credit card company trying to dispute the charge. I have a text message from the salesman stating we could cancel at the welcome call. Just want our money back and forget we ever considered doing business with them.Business Response

The contract has a 3 day cancellation period, you wanted to cancel after this time period. To this day, you have still not adhered to the terms of the contract and provided a written cancellation notice. We are sorry for any confusion from the Design Consultant, I can also say he no longer works for Bath Makeover of Arkansas.Customer Answer

I signed a contract with Bath makeover of Arkansas on June 21, 2022 and the job was completed on November 3, 2022. As you can see it took 4 months to complete to remove and replace a shower. In between those 4 months Bath Makeover did not return phone calls or emails. Home Depot finance the project for me and paid Bath makeover 100 percent up front. So, on October 28, 2022 I called Home Depot to let them know that I wanted a refund because of Bath Makeover lack of follow up. After contacting Home Depot the job was completed on November 3, 2022. Fast forward to December 13, 2022. My shower door was leaking water. On the 15 of December a plumber came out to check out the door. I was told some one will contact me later. December 21, 2022 **** called and left a message to call him. I called him back 30 minutes later and the next day. Still no call back. I called the warranty service once again on 12-27-22. **** call on 12-28-22. On 12-29-22 he came by and said he might have to order a part. I made another call to the warranty service on 01-25-2023. **** came out on 01-28-23. He couldn't stop the leak. He was suppose to come back on 01-30-2023. **** did not show up or call. More bad customer service. 02-10-2023 **** called and said he will come by on 02-14-2023. Another no show or call. Once again i called Bath Makeover warranty service on 03-07-2023. **** is suppose to come out on 03-14-2023. A plumber showed up. He recommended that the door be replaced. April 24, 2023, I talk with another manager name *******. He was suppose to come out later that day. I guess by now you know what happen. Today is June 12, 2023. The shower door is still leaking and I haven't heard anything from Bath Makeover.Business Response

I ordered two, bathroom remodels in July 2022. One was completed fairly soon after ordering. I was told to go ahead and tear out existing bathroom fixtures in the other bathroom and prepare for second remodel. We did this per requested in August 2022. It is January 2023 and bathroom is still not complete. I have been told on numerous calls between August thru December that parts have not arrived. In November 2022, I repeatedly asked the salesperson, ****, to provide the general managers number so I can update them on this situation. He refused to give me the number several times. On January 9th, I called the company and waited for the General Manager ******* to answer the phone. He stated that he had no idea that the order existed and it "fell through the cracks." I have called/texted **** the salesperson numerous times with assurances that this was being addressed. My family of four has been sharing one bathroom since August. I could have kept the old fixtures in if I knew it was going to take this long. I am seeking an apology and discount due to poor communication and poor scheduling.Business Response

The cause of the initial delay was that it was originally a special order item. Once the project was scheduled, we found out that the project was not able to be completed as intended.
What looked like a false wall was not. We were not able to extend her shower as far as it appeared we could before starting the demolition.
We did find an alternative solution and rushed a pan that would fit the opening to her in Fort Smith from Little Rock that same day and she did not want it.
We would love to finish the project for her, but she asked the technicians to leave.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:I did not let the technicians complete the project because I paid for a bigger shower. I simply was not getting what I paid for. The business changed the shower size/rushed the smaller size without consulting me. I would have been paying for what we originally agreed to and gotten a much smaller show. With that said, three people from their company looked at the wall and said that it could be removed to accommodate a larger shower. I am wanting a full refund now due to the amount of time this order has taken and the inaccuracy of the salesman and people measuring the shower. I do not trust this company to complete the shower any longer. I see no other option other than full refund for that bathroom. The company cannot provide the agreed upon product (at their own fault). Due to the issues with this company, I want a refund and to go with another company to put in the shower.
Sincerely,
****** ******Business Response

This has been resolved, unfortunately the work cannot be done as originally intended due to complications and we issued a refund to the customer. To my knowledge, no other action is needed.
