1 starOn May 27th I contracted a freight company, Global Freight Carriers LLC to ship a palletized/boxed metal building from Michigan to my home in Alabama. Global Freight Carriers outsourced this to ABF Freight under BOL G ************* and with tracking number 3 ********. The item was supposed to be picked up on Jun 2nd but was apparently picked up on Jun 4th. According to tracking on Jun 5th it was in Auburn Hills MI, Jun 6th in Dayton OH, and on Jun 9th arrived in Decatur AL where it was supposed to be delivered to my address. From that point my shipment disappeared. Estimated delivery dates continues to creep. Global Freight Carriers said an investigation was looking for my freight but had no dates or estimates of completion. By Jun 14 I requested a refund and reimbursement from Global Freight and they supposedly commenced a claim. As of Jul 9th no dates on the completion of this were provided to me and in frustration and a breakdown of communication with Global Freight they elected to pay out an insurance claim of less than the freight value against my wishes. My staunch position on this was that Global Freight and ABF were responsible for losing my freight entirely, a package 8ft long, 3ft wide and 2ft tall weighing 1,100lbs! It has no wheels, cannot just roll away or be picked up and misplaced casually. As Global Freight does not want to handle this issue properly I am forced to lodge my complaints in other ways. Considering ABF shows the item in Decatur at one point it can only be determined that ABF either lost, or had stolen my freight. They should be responsible for that! 1 starCan I post a review with 0 stars?? they deserve 0 stars.This company is not serious.I bought some freezers for my store ,the eta was Monday and in order to fit the new freezers I had to remove the old ones to make space (2 six foot freezers 400 pounds each) so the logistics had to be perfect,Monday morning the eta changed to Wednesday,so for now 2 days without opening my store and loosing money since I own an ICE CREAM shop and freezers are the key to operate my business .Today Wednesday the ETA magically changed to tomorrow and honestly they don't care about us "the clients".I paid $800 for the freight, they are not doing a favor to me .The $16k freezers had an initial ETA 3 days ago and as right now I don't have the freezers.
Don't hire this company and if you buy important thing ask first who is going to be the freight company, if they say ABF refuse it! you are the one paying for the shipping after allABF Freight

Despite us not being there initially, he waited patiently and even helped drop off our very heavy package at the front. 1 starNot that it looks like it matters to the company but their customer service and dispatch people are rude. Plain rude. I said that no one is home during the day from 8 to 1 pm. she said well I can put it in the notes. I said I hope no one shows up because no one will be there. She said we will call you an hour before. I said that doesn't matter, no one will be home. there has to be a way around this so that we are not wasting your time or mine . . . . . . . silence on the phone. She repeated what she had said before. All with attitude like I am trying to start a fight. upping the attitude every time she tells me something, pretty sure she is trying to get me riled so she can hang up on me, but I'm not an idiot. Again I said no one will be home between 8 and 1 during the day and that they should make it to where they will come after that and she said well we will just send it back to sender. I accepted the day. But if I'm not home that is ABF's fault and they can reschedule till they get it right or return it to sender. Either way I will be telling the "sender" (who by the way ships a ton of freight) that they should not be using ABF Freight and stick with SAIAABF Freight

1 starThe worst delivery company in the world. never have good attitude to resolve issue. They have my address and told them my phone number, they said they don’t have phone from the paper so always sent to salvage. Lost $50k due to several failed deliveries. All other delivery companies can reach me or send to me correctly from same shipper, only this company always missed my delivery. Never considered to resolve issue

1 starA scammer company, I shipped a small pallet, they quotes $441.63, I paid it in full. Then after one month, this scammer company charged us another $610.72 and said payment adjustment for classification change. This is compaltely a scam, what I shipped is office suppliies, there is no any poison or dangerous materials, there is no way to add $610.72 more. We have to chrageback with our credit card. Stay away from this scam company, this scammer company is playing "bait and switch" games, never trust their quotes. It seems relatively cheap quote (not cheaper than Tforce or others) turn out the most expensive one. Will never use or recommend this thief company.ABF Freight

Got a 1-hour automated complimentary call, but waited 4 hours for delivery. When I explained to the driver that I was losing time at work to wait this long, he explained he had to take his lunch--but that he was the one that sent the 1-hour message--and couldn't manage to update me on the progress (I know he had my phone number: he tried to call while I was standing in the driveway for him to unload).
