      Conamated Gass my car started to drag from the gas station the when I got home the car stalled with white smoke I had to have it towed to have it fixed it cost 849.00 to clean the bad gas out they won't pay for it because they said my car was the only car they had a problem with

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/07/26) */ Ms. ******* purchased $8 (approximately 3 gallons) of regular unleaded fuel on 6/25/21. Three days later she had her vehicle towed to the dealership for repairs. When we spoke to the mechanic, he told us that the vehicle arrived with about half a tank of fuel. Her tank holds approximately 15.9 gallons so the 3 gallons purchase from us 3 days previously would not have half-filled her tank. The mechanic ruled out water, E85 and diesel as being the concern. They were not able to pull any codes when they tried. In the end, the mechanic could not identify what was wrong with the fuel in Ms *******'s vehicle. Ms. *******'s statement to the mechanic that is identified on the invoice states "since filling up with fuel, the engine will no longer stay running." The 3 gallons would not have filled up her tank. Just like her mechanic, we are not sure what was wrong with the fuel Ms. ******* had in her tank, but we are positive that the 3 gallons she purchased from us was good fuel and not the cause of her car problems. We sold 5,656 gallons of regular unleaded fuel to 576 other customers that day and not one had any issues with their vehicles. If there was an issue with the 3 gallons of fuel that Ms ******* purchased from us that day, then many of the other 576 customers would have experience the same issues with their cars. There is no way for there to be only 3 gallons of bad fuel in the 5,659 gallons of regular unleaded fuel sold that day. We also have 24 hours electronic monitoring systems on our tanks. The reports verify there was no water in the fuel. In addition, we have filters that clog up if the fuel has water in it. The 3 gallons of regular unleaded that Ms. ******* purchased from us on 6/25/21 was good fuel, therefore we are not responsible for her repair cost.       I stopped in a Murphy USA, located at 505 SW 19th Street, on the evening of 4-26-21 and made a 25.00 gasoline purchase via my debit card. I frequent this location due to the proximity to work and home. I informed Joanne that i wished to enter my rewards info, she said she would have to cancel transaction. i asked for the sale and cancel receipt, after 20 minutes, i received the 2, after she promised me that the credit would show after 10 minutes. On 4-28-21, I telephoned the "manager" *******, 3 TIMES...the 1st call he informed me that he did not know me and HUNG UP on my call. The second call he raised his voice and stated it wasn't his fault and not to call back!!!!! And on the third, and last call, *******, the "manager", raising his voice louder, cussed me out and suggested that if I needed something from him, that I come, in person, so that he could "whip my ****** Since when is this management material'??! I still have 2 charges for a single purchase on my debit card.

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/06/08) */ The customer call the claim into our Customer Care Team on 4/28/21. An e-mail was sent to the DM who did address the issue with the employee involved based on Respect being one of the Company's principles that all employees are to abide by. I did verify that the first transaction was cancelled, therefore the original charge of $25 never was collected from the customer's account. One of the Customer Care agents successfully sent a hold release letter to the customer's bank to get the bank hold released. Murphy USA only collected one $25 payment from the customer for the fuel purchase. If there are two charges on the customer's statement, then he will need to dispute the second one with his bank because we only collected $25 in total.
