I am paying for a vehicle that won’t even run, it’s been sitting in my yard since 2021, they won’t even talk with me about it any longer, the repairs that have been to the vehicle I paid for out of my pocket and there are so many recalls on this vehicle and they tell me that the oil it was using since the first week I bought it and the knocking in the motor doesn’t have anything to do with any recalls, I even had to have the catalytic converter fixed also, I believe it falls under the LEMON LAW but no one seems to think so at the dealership, I just don’t need my credit ruined! they have me backed in the corner and I am hoping the BBB will help me with this matter.Superior Chevrolet of Conway Response

Good Afternoon, Teresa. We received your review and a representative from the Dealership reached out to you on Friday April 5th, 2024 looking for additional information. The email identifies several conflicting pieces of information and does ask for clarification in regards to service records and a service contract that was active for most of the timeline stated in your review. In addition, we pulled the CarFax on April 5th, 2024 and the vehicle showed no open recalls. As of April 9th, 2024 we have not yet heard from you in regards to the information requested.Review from Mike H

I went to buy a used car. I knew the online price was just under $14,000 I liked the car and tried to buy it. The price I was quoted was $1,000 over the advertised price. I liked the vehicle so started paper work. The payments that I was quoted had an interest rate over any thing I had seen on line on car gurus or auto trader which calculates each dear with rebuilding, fair, good, very good and excellent. I recently checked mine it was in the good range. And the payments they quoted were worse than rebuilding at 14.24%. I asked about paying cash and was told the price would go up another $1000 for cash. They had already quoted me $1000 over advertised. And was to the second $1000 was for loss of their kick back $ they receive from the bank when vehicle is financed. The did 2 calculations on No trade in and 1 with $3000 trade in the payments dropped a total of $3000. Which means the interest on the lower amount financed must have went up. Have owned many cars in my life. Bought a car in 2019 from Superior Chevrolet and took my daughter to buy one. Dec. 2022 bought new 2023 Malibu. Have had nothing but problems. Had it in for problems 3 times. 1st time couldn’t identify the whistle noise happening in the car. Couldn’t replicate the shuttering of the engine. Couldn’t replicate any of the issues. 2nd time told me whistling noise was normal. Told me slight shutter in engine normal. Told me loud clicking noise of gas pedal was user error. Told high beam’s automatic system to dim high beams was working properly. Told other issues with car can’t be duplicated. Took in 3 rd time for vehicle engine shuttering harder. Reported vehicle turns off while still moving. Can’t replicate. Told after 3rd visit to video issues before coming back. This is all documented! Took back 4 th time with video of gas gauge not working. Video of center console where radio and all systems are went totally dark and would not function. Plus all the same issues reported before and check engine light was on. Dropped vehicle off at night deposit. Was called next day by service advisor. He said looking at your vehicle now tell me all issues. 3 hrs later He calls said he had bad news there was a rats nest under hood of car. He claimed it chewed up wires and harness near gas tank. He sent picture of grass inside engine compartment. I had oil changed 2 weeks prior not noticed then. He didn’t sent me photo of chewed up wires or harness. 11days later after receiving a replacement part I picked up my vehicle. I asked to see the chewed up wires and harness. I was asked if they could email me a photo. I declined and asked for the wiring and harness. After 20 minutes of supposedly looking in dumpster and other trash the wiring and harness were not found. Have many more complaints but this complaint form won’t mallow that many words. I feel I’m paying for a vehicle that is unsafe. Bad Service manager and sales manager. They over charge u for service. They charge me over $400 to put a AC hose on and charge me for freon that they didn't put in. They did a diagnostic test first and say that their gonna start with the hose first and if thats not it.....then they would fix the evaporate.....so when I got my car from getting the hose fix...it was blowing cool for a min than it start blowing really hot air but when I called her back about the service....then she tells me it could be the evaporate and then wanna charge me $1200...seems like their setting their up to make u keep coming back and ripping u off when its really something simpleSuperior Chevrolet of Conway Response

We are disappointed that Mr. ******** was not completely satisfied with his service. Upon review of his visit, we discovered that Mr. ******** paid $262 for repairs and Freon. He was advised that this was the only leak our technicians could see/find in the AC system, and that there could be other leaks or an issue with the evaporator core. The core is located in the dash and there is no way to see or test it without removing the dash. He was quoted approximately $2000 if that repair became necessary.
We are committed to full transparency and make every effort to provide the information necessary so that customers can make an informed decision. Our management has reached out to Mr. ******** about any further repairs he would like to have done.
