We think Coastal is a complete disaster and rip-off. They installed a rain gutter for our house in March 2021 and in less than a year about 40 feet of it on the back of our house has crashed down on our patio after about 2-3 inches of snow fell in February, a few weeks ago. We tried to call them but their voice mail was full and no message could be left and to try later. We tried calling their so-called other locations in Alabama and Louisiana and the same thing happened, it was impossible to talk to anyone at any location. Their website says their work has a life long guarantee. We then contacted the Home Advisor organization (a subsidiary of Angie's List/Angi) who recommended them to us and say they investigate and do back-ground checks on their contractors and they won't do anything to help. Someone named Michelle sent us an email around March 1st saying she will send someone out as soon as possible, but to this date we've never heard from anyone and have had no response to our follow-up emails. We checked the industry standards for rain gutter installation and found out Coastal didn't come close to the standards....the standards say to have the support brackets 2 1/2 feet apart and Coastal put them in at 8ft-10ft apart, so it's no wonder it crashed down the first time there was any kind of a load. Downspouts are to be no more than 35ft apart and on one side of the house there was a 46ft length without a spout. Do not use these people unless you love throwing your money away.....
