This company claims to sent me several notices regarding a past due bill, however I never received any of them because they had the wrong address. Workers didn't acknowledge that they were wrong, but said they sent bill to the wrong address. Rep finally said that they billed insurance and I owed a high balance for poorly made product. I was never fitted for a brace they charged me for. Reps are very disrespectful. Just a terrible company that rips off poor families.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/06/18) */ Customer was prescribed and dispensed a wrist splint at her physician's office. She signed Motion Medical's authorization form saying she wanted the item, gave us permission to file an insurance claim on her behalf. Directly above her signature it says she will be responsible for any charges not paid by insurance and she is satisfied with the product and fit. Her insurance carrier applied the entire $43 charge to this person's deductible which is the amount a person must pay out of pocket to providers before their insurance company starts paying on claims. We were supplied an inaccurate address, however after the first invoice was returned, the address was corrected. Based on the records of our invoicing company, Ms. ****** received 4 paper statements/invoices at the correct address. She also listened fully to two automated voice messages and two more voice messages were delivered to her answering machine. When this individual called our office, she first said she never went to the doctor nor got a wrist splint. Then she said she would not have gotten it if she knew she would have to pay for it. Then she said we didn't file on her insurance. All these statements were calmly disproved and explained to her. We emailed this individual a copy of Motion Medical's authorization form with her original signature. On 6/18/21 this person called Motion Medical and paid her invoice (deductible) in full over the phone.
