    Our skylights were leaking so we decided to just to have them removed. I asked for recommendations on ******** for someone who sprays popcorn.

    Ron came and looked on ******* 4, **** and he said he could do it. I asked him, do you think you will have any problems with matching it? No, not at all. To make it worth his time we told him he could insulate and sheetrock it to. (First mistake!) He said I’ll go get materials today and start tomorrow.

    When he finished I came home to look and pay him. I told him, “Looks great! (Second mistake!). I knew it looked uneven but really thought, it’s wet and hasn’t been painted.

    The next night I’m looking, too thick around the seems. I messaged him. I’ll come look, it’s hard to tell by the picture. That should have been my first clue!! Can you not tell from the picture how bad this looks??!! He came back and it was a little better but still definite issues.

    My husband thought it would be fine after it was painted and did tell him it looks better. He also said, of course I’d prefer you not to sand if you don’t have to. If I hire you, you are the expert and should definitely know if it’s done right.

    He blocked me on ********. I texted him and apologized for being ugly. We are at fault too, I told him looked great and *** said it was better. Not “much better”.

    Oh and he did not give me the receipts for the material we purchased separately but just added it to his receipt Materials $150.
