I am a glass artist and, at the time *** ****** was doing jobs in my neighborhood and sought me out to do some work for me I was busy with making things for an exhibit I had my work in at the ************************************************************************* downtown.*** ******, the representative of Premier Tree and Mulch I dealt with, was very cooperative at first but, when I'd been dealing with him for a while, he became less so. The first job he did for me was to take down a tree. (I paid him for that job after he'd gotten it done.) He'd taken down one tree and wanted to take down another, but I refused to let him and explained to him why not.The next part of the job was some tree-pruning. He'd brought some workers with him whom he said he gotten from somewhere up north and, while he had them with him, he had plenty of manpower to get any jobs done. He showed me that he'd bought an expensive device to grind up stumps, limbs, etc. into sawdust and had promised me he'd not leave any of these around but would grind them and carry them off my property. The last part of this job was $5,800.00 and was to cover the pruning the crew had done, plus the grinding up of any stumps left, which there were eight that were about 6 " thick and around 4 ' long and about 12 longer, thinner ones, more like branches. I have no means of doing this and do not feel like I should have to, since I paid for it to be done. I regret deeply that I paid him in the form of a check to his brother **** ****** before this job was done. Since getting the check, the company has done no further work, despite the fact that I've called and left messages several times without any response. They finally put a statement on their machine that no messages could be left on it at all. Any help the BBB can give with this issue will be deeply appreciated.****** *********
