      I am filing this complaint because Meridian Waste has mishandled and misused my personally identifiable information. Companies that collect customer data have a legal and ethical responsibility to safeguard that information and use it only for legitimate business purposes. Meridian Waste has failed to meet that standard.The information I provided to Meridian Waste for billing and service purposes has been used in ways that were not authorized, not disclosed at the time of collection, and unrelated to the purpose for which it was given. This misuse of customer PII is unacceptable and represents a serious breach of trust.I request the following:1. A full explanation of how my information was used, shared, or disclosed outside of its intended purpose.2. Confirmation that Meridian Waste has implemented corrective actions to prevent this from happening again.3. Appropriate remediation for the violation of my privacy and trust.The protection of customer PII is a basic expectation. *********************** failure to handle this responsibly raises significant concerns about compliance, consumer rights, and data security.Resolution Requested: Written acknowledgement of the misuse and corrective actions taken.

      This company charges $58.00 every other month and is billed through Barbour county solid waste. Garbage collection is supposed to be weekly (every Tuesday) for the past 3 months Garbage is only being collected once or twice per month. The company offers no resolution as to when ******* will be collected. The customer ********************** agents offer no help and simply say they will get it when they can. I am not an isolated customer either, I live on a main state road. Collection service for my entire area is the same as mine and only being picked up once or twice per month. This company refuses to preform the services we are forced to pay for.

      We are supposed to have trash picked up on Wednesday of each week. We place our trash bin out by the road every Tuesday night so that if pick up is real early it will be there for the truck. Very seldom is our trash picked on the scheduled day so it sits out by the road until Meridian Waste Management decides on the day they will come. On the entire ******** Loop trash was not picked up at all for the residents during the week July 14, 2025-July 20, 2025. This is a common thing that happens. We pay for a service to be provided and Meridian Waste is not doing the service we pay for. I can have a petition of signatures if needed for action to be taken against this company. All we really want is our trash picked up on the day which was assigned by them which is Wednesday. I am also asking for credit to each one of the residents on the ************************** in ***************. I have reached out to our ***************** and the County EMA about this matter.
