    On 11/27/23, Huntsville Granite & Marble (HG&M), LLC came to my residence to provide an estimate for quartz countertops. HG&M tech quoted me a total price of $6,649.00. Initially, I paid a deposit of $3,324.50. The tech exited without giving me a copy of the estimate. 12/01/23, I called HG&M... spoke with *******************, told her I needed a copy of the estimate. ************ emailed me a copy, total sq ft 81 sq ft. I told her the sq ft was high based on a prior measurement from another vendor (76 sq ft). She said, Thats only a difference of 5 sq ft. I requested a re-measurement; ************ said **** would come out on Monday, 4th Dec. @ 3. 12/02/23, my wife and I measured the countertops, a total of **** sq ft (similar to the competitors measurements). Monday, 4th Dec. **** never showed up, so I contacted him. **** said he won't make it out. Called HG&M office, informed ************ of my dissatisfaction with HG&M customer service, and that I no longer wanted HG&M to do the work. ************ said, There is no refund if you cancel, I replied, You guys did not do any work and I did not sign a contract, what do you mean theres no refund?" ************ replied, Ill call you back. I never heard from her again. Overall, ******************* provided a price on the cost to upgrade my countertops, I never signed a contract, and no work was done. 12/07/2023, I emailed ******************* and cc ************************* to reiterate I am no longer interested in doing business with HG&M, and requested a refund of $3,324.50. My email went unanswered. 12/14/2023, I texted *******************, Morning ****, whats the status of my $3,324.50 refund? I never signed a contract and no work was done at my property. Thank you. ******************* never replied. Based on my unfavorable experience with HG&M, my conclusion is that HG&M engages in fraudulent business practices against minorities by attempting to deny me my refund. I want a peaceful resolution ($3,324.50) before taking it to the Judicial level and the media. Thank you,

    We had a horrible experience with this company. They broke our granite during installation, tore up two of our walls causing us to have to have the drywall and paint fixed, and tore up our door trim going into our pantry which has yet to be repaired. They drilled an extra hole into our island granite and tried to hide it from us with tape. The entire island granite was a debacle. They initially installed granite that was the wrong measurements and wanted us to purchase some type of stands or braces instead of replacing the wrong sized granite. We had to make them replace the granite. They installed unwanted backsplash after we repeatedly told them, and even have in texts, that we didnt want a backsplash. We had to have another crew install a brick backsplash in our kitchen to cover their poorly installed seams. They put a soap dispenser in the unwanted hole which is not what we wanted. During this same process, they broke our sink and didnt tell us and tried to hide that as well. It was only when they couldnt find a replacement and had to ask us which sink we bought that we found out about the broken sink. They damaged our island spindles and island cabinets when they broke the wrongly measured granite. The pantry granite has a seam that is horrible to look at; it shows chips and flakes. This granite looks like it was cut with a full saw, and it should have been recut and replaced. We repeatedly asked for a receipt to all of their work to check our finances, and they refused to give us one. We only got a receipt in a sealed envelope when they finished the project which took over four months. The entire ordeal with this company was awful, and we would not recommend this company to anyone. There are still dents, cuts, and poor work still visible. We were very nice to them through this process. We never complained or argued with them, and we feel that by being nice may have cost us. We never heard back from them to see if the work was satisfactory.
