Cali Nails is a wonderful family business . They have been my nail salon for over a decade and they are extremely knowledgeable about the latest products and services. They always provide exceptional service and go above and beyond the basic services. I highly recommend this small business. Thank you for being an awesome small business in our community ! Highly recommend!

****** was my nail tech. He greeted me with one stash of gel color choices and asked for me to pick one after I went over what services I had scheduled. Within the first 10mins I noticed he was being a bit sloppy. He had been at the front desk prior doing something and once he did start I noticed he had not sanitized his hands and there was left over dust and filth from prior services although on the front window it states that they clean every hour.. ****** goes and pulls out this pair of clippers from who knows where with all this gunk on them. A prior nail that had been clipped flew out. Red flag ********* not sure. ****** then trimmed my nails and started gluing on the tips. One tip was a little more towards the left then Im sure ****** intended, so instead of waiting to see what might happen after the acrylic is applied I did ask ****** that he redo this one tip before he continued. ****** became upset and thew a tantrum.. he said that he doesnt have to deal with this and aggressively started cutting off all the tips. I took my hand from his and said no *** and went to my car. I did go back after a moment of breathing and asked for his name and his license number which he refused and said that he will call the cops. I dont know if he even has a license because it was not visible. There were two other female workers there and there were two female license visible. Maybe ****** was just having an off day, but either way I think he may need better training in multiple areas. I know being a nail tech can be challenging.Ive been there I worked as a pedicure tech for an Asia lady under the table without a license. She did not properly train me and I had to learn as I went. Consequently construction criticism is a key for success. If you dont like the job youre doing please find something you do like to do and have a passion for it.
