I called Multi Auto about my 2007 ****** Murano S *** and advised them of an oil leak. The office mgr. ****** stated it could be repaired quickly. I brought my *** in on 2/8/24 & they performed a diagnostic test indicating my truck needed several gaskets. They said the engine would be removed. I paid a deposit of $600 on 2/9/24 & agreed to the work. I asked for the spark plugs & coil packs to be changed & provided the parts. On 2/26/24 they called stating my truck was ready. I paid the balance of $914.51 & drove off. Not even 3 miles down the road it began to smoke, spray fluid, and jerk hard. I pulled into a gas station and called Multi Auto for help. ****** the mechanic came & stated the power steering fluid was leaking onto the exhaust. A man at the gas station who saw the smoke came over and told ****** he was wrong, the leak was coolant fluid. ****** told me the *** would have to be towed to the shop. The next day, ****** said ****** told her there was a coolant leak from a cracked upper radiator hose because the engine was better. 2/28/24 they billed me $300, $100 for the tow and $200 for the hoses and labor. I was reluctant to pay but I needed my vehicle. 2 days later I noticed the same leak & took pictures. ****** asked me to bring the ***. 3/5/24 they called and said the truck is leaking coolant from a different area and wanted $120. I knew it was a lie so I refused to pay. They recommended that I take it to a 3rd party. 3/7/24 I went to the ****** dealership. After testing they provided documentation the upper radiator hose was cut too short causing the leak. I asked for a refund of the 2nd hose repair and labor, not the tow. They refused. I feel this company has engaged in deceptive business practices by not repairing my vehicle properly causing leaks in the radiator hose. My oil repair lamp is still illuminated so I cannot confirm the oil leak was fixed. I am seeking a refund of $300 for the 2nd repair. I feel they are responsible for both coolant leaks.
