****** recently left us with a package for pickup that reeked of gasoline, she did not pick it up until 3 days after I told her that she needed to come back and pick it up. Ups will not pick up a package emitting fumes and I didn't want it sitting in our store over the weekend.
This customer that spends no money in our store, and only partakes in the free drop-off service has now become a liability.
Asked customer to use the free drop-off service elsewhere. The customer is now regretting being banned from dropping off so is writing reviews instead of coming in like a grown-up to apologize for the gas box incident.
Her lack of courtesy (not calling to let us know she couldn't come back to pick up the gas fume box), and bad attitude the day she did finally pick it up caused her to have to shop elsewhere.

flammable, just like the post office or any other shipping facility. Since her package was a drop off and already packed we did not
know if the item contained gasoline. The fumes were so strong from the package the driver would not have taken it if there was gas or not. So sorry for the confusion. We ABSOLUTELY DO NOT KEEP drop off packages. Whatever happens to them after they are picked up by the driver we do not know. Sometimes (a lot of times) customers do not attach their shipping labels properly and in the process of being thrown or on the conveyor belt the label gets lost. Packages are not handled with kid gloves. Drop off customers need to understand that they are responsible to properly pack and label their packages.
