    I hired Y professional tree service to remove three trees and, In the process, they dropped A large tree trunk on my drive way which caused my drive way to breakup and now they are doing what they said they would do it's been over a month since they caused the damage the longer they wait or ignore repairing the worse the damage becomes and effect the other parts that are adjacent concrete with water going under

    OCTOBER ****** Y PROFESSIONAL TREE SERVICE REMOVED TREES FROM MY PROPERTY. IN THE PROCESS OF THIS A BOBCAT USED TO LIFT TREES DAMAGED MY DRIVEWAY WITH A QUOTE OF $2800.OO TO REPAIR. I HAVE CONTACTED THIS BUSINESS TO RESOLVE PROBLEM, AND SENT THEM A QUOTE. I RECEIVED A TEXT FROM ***** ****** THAT HE WAS TALKING WITH BBB. I HAVE ALSO SPOKEN TO THE *********************************** WITH A CASE FILE NUMBER 247960-001. YOUR HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED.

    Hired Y Professional ************ to clear storm damage and debris on 05/09/2024. Almost a month later, they still have not removed a large pile of debris from my yard.

    In the afternoon 09Feb23 ************** (he didn't give me his last name) from the Y Professional Tree Service (YPTS) called and asked me about the tree cutting service quote that he had given me earlier. He told me that he can have the tree cut today 09Feb23, haul away all the tree/debris, grind the ***** including all surrounding roots, and have everything COMPLETED by the 10Feb23. After we had talked and agreed with all the work items and the price, I texted him all the agreed items to ensure that we are on the same page. He replied with a "YES" to confirm that he can do all of those work items within the time frame and the price agreed. So I texted him that he could start the job today 09Feb23. The tree was cut on 09Feb23 as scheduled, but nothing was done on 10Feb23 with no call no show. I contacted ***** that day several times and he said he would have it done by 11Feb23. The tree/debris was hauled away on 11Feb23 after I had texted him several times that day. He told me he would come back to grind the ***** and surrounding roots on 12Feb23. He didn't show up or call me at all on 12Feb23. I tried to contact him several times, but he didn't respond. I had to text him several times again on 13Feb23 and told him that the job was supposed to be done by 10Feb23 and now 13Feb23 and it's still not complete. He finally replied that he would have his uncle to to come and grind the ***** and roots in the afternoon. His uncle (*************************** ) came and grinded the ***** that day. When **************** told me that he had finished the grinding job and wanted a pay check, I told him that since there were a lot of grinded wood chips that covered up the ground, and I couldn't tell whether all the ***** and roots have been grinded properly. If after cleaning up all the wood chips later and I find any ***** or tree roots that have not been grinded properly, I will have to call him to come back and grind them; and he said "YES." He also told me that he's the owner of the company, gave me his business card, and accepted my check. On 20Feb23 after cleaning up the wood chips, I found several big tree roots that have been left ungrinded and were covered under the wood chips. I have been trying to contact ************** and *************************** via text messages and emails since that day numerous times to let them know about the problem, and asked them to come back to grind the remaining tree roots that have been left incomplete, but NO ONE RESPONDED. So, I have to file this complaint with BBB for resolution, and to REQUEST Y Professional Tree Service to come back and COMPLETE grinding the remaining roots that have been left unfinished, as PROMISED by *************************** when accepting my check, and as AGREED with ************** in the Job Agreement text messages to "grind the ***** and ALL the surrounding roots" of the tree. Please let me know the date and time that YPTS can come and complete the remaining roots grinding job as agreed in the agreement or their resolutions. Attached please see the remaining roots that have been left ungrinded/unfinished.Thank you, *****.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

    This is **************************  I would like to inform you about the Case #******** that I filed against Y Professional Tree Service (TPTS).  On 08 March 2023 YPTS called me and said that they've got a letter from BBB and decided to come and grind the remaining tree roots at my house.  On 09March23 YPTS came and grinded the tree roots that had been left unfinished earlier.  I really appreciate your help in resolving this issue with YPTS.  Without your help, I am very sure that YPTS would never respond to me or come back to complete their job, especially after getting paid on 13Feb23.  Thank you BBB for helping me and the consumers to resolve issues with those companies that are not conducting business up to standard practices, and to help us reach reasonable solutions.  Thank you for making us feel more confident in purchasing products or contracting services in the future.
