We hired J&A Home Improvement to complete a large project in our downstairs area, including filling floor holes, patching wall holes, and replacing all the flooring. The project did not meet expectations. Key issues we had:Timeline: The project, promised to be completed in a week, stretched over a 2 months.Misleading Representation: **** shared pictures of supposedly completed projects, but the quality of our work suggests a lack of experience handling these projects.Material Waste: There were significant material overages due to poor measuring, resulting in additional purchases beyond the quote.******************: The floor installation was unprofessional with large gaps and mismatched pieces. They patched some areas instead of replacing the entire section as needed.Cutting Corners: They avoided tasks like moving appliances and bathroom vanity for *************** placement. Cheap transition strips were used throughout the project. They placed a commercial strip in our bathroom.Deception: Lies were used to cover shoddy work. They claimed pre-existing white quarter round near the stairs despite clear photos proving otherwise.Substandard Materials and Poor Finish: The quality of materials was low, resulting in chipped flooring and poorly installed quarter round.The overall outcome was so poor and unsalvageable. We are forced to redo the entire project at a significant cost exceeding $14,000. They asked for money when they hadn't finished the job. We provided a list of our concerns before they "finished" the job and never came back to address them. We still have holes in the floor, broken quarter rounds, hole in the garage, unleveled floors, glue placed in random places. We gave ample opportunities to correct the issue and acted in good faith. **** never followed through and lied about coming out to finish the job.We advise anyone to avoid them. Their poor communication, workmanship, and lack of experience resulted in the worst job we've ever seen.
