    We purchased the quartz slab for our countertop/backsplash back in October and they were installed a few weeks ago. After their installers messed up cuts on two pieces, they attempted to fix it but it still looks terrible. The owner offered to get another slab to replace the pieces but he had already told me that no other slab would match what we had since it wasnt from the same bulk. We just asked for a refund in materials to replace the whole countertop so that they would match and he is refusing. If we chose to go his route and have him fix it with a piece that doesnt match, he says well still owe him the 10% thats left on the total

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I fully disagree with this statement. The money isnt a problem, its the fact that hes still wanting us to pay full price for a mistake that his own company made. We were informed whenever he came out to measure for them that the slabs would be cut with their machine at the shop within so much of an inch. Every slab piece was cut at our house. He then said that they didnt cut it at the shop due to them not accounting for the window being there even though the window was installed and there whenever he came out to measure. This whole business is a joke and Im not the first one to have these kinds of problems with them not owning up to their mistakes and doing whats right.

    To whom it may concern, 

         Mrs. **** and her "contractor" have elected to not correspond  with us. We ordered her a new slab. She will not call us. She also said do not worry about even ordering one and send a piece of wood from her house for us to make a window sill in place of it. Furthermore with our contract plainly states for her not to move her cabinets and they need to be level and flat. We also have a set of signed of drawings from her via email telling us what size to make everything. Do not see how this is our fault. we made what she said, she will not speak with us and she violated the contract by manipulating her job site. We were just trying to be nice. However that is over. As far as the amount, it is so random , because she said that is how much her husband wanted to cut a wooden window sill that was not even in her quote. We can not finish her caulking, because she will not let us in the house. She ordered this stuff in 7/24. You can also see by the pics, she also has ladders and etc all over her counters. She wants us to be responsible for fixing that as well. She is having problems with electricians and etc. They one reason why she is at the BBB is because we make homeowners pay up front. She still owns 10%. She tried not to pay and we loaded the stuff back up. What we have here is someone with out the funds
