In 2016 I used National Tree Service to cut and remove a large tree that was stuck by lightning. Since this time, I have monthly and often weekly, and even multiple times per week phone calls from National Tree Service saying "We are calling to inform you that we are providing a complementary assessment of your trees to ensure they are healthy." I keep asking to be removed from their calling list. Sometimes the person calling says they will remove me, often they tell me that they can not remove me, and one even told me that I am on their calling list for life.Today I called National Tree Service and asked for a Manager. I was told there is not manager, just the owner. I was finally transferred to someone who referred to himself as the Manager. I explained my frustration with being harassed for years and not being able to be removed from their calling list. He just kept trying to explain that they are concerned about the health of my trees. I explained that I am concerned about being harassed by phone calls for a service I do not want and did not ask for. I kept insisting that I be removed from their calling list, and he just kept giving excuses of why I could not be removed. After I finally hung up and was looking for the phone number for my lawyer's office, he called me back and explained that he had talked to the owner, ****, and that she had a phone number I could call to be removed.First, why has it taken 8 years of harassment for this to be offered.Second, it is their responsibility to take me off of the call list, not mine to reach out to other companies. I told him that it is their responsibility to call the number and have me removed and he kept making excuses.I have read online that many people have suffered years of harassment from National Tree Service and I am not the only one.
