    I received a bill from them for a visit to my local hospital and attempted to call and pay it over the phone. I was then advised by the *** that they could not give me a confirmation number for my CC transaction. This company has no online payment portal. I reached out to HH and they declined to help with this. I just way to pay my bill and get a receipt. Doing this over the phone felt like a scam!

    Emergency Physicians Group is a separate entity from ********** Hospital, performing billing functions for the Emergency room physicians.
    Customer Service agents do not process credit card or other payments at the time of the call. This is intended as an added level of security to keep their personal and payment information secure. At this time,Emergency Physicians Group does not have an online or at terminal processing for patient payments, but this is under consideration for possible implementation in the future.
    Our offices spoke with ********************** 05/03/2023 and it was agreed that a physical payment (check or money order) would be mailed in to satisfy the debt. A current statement has also been mailed to the address of record from our office as of this date. A receipt will be mailed to the patients address of record when the payment has been processed. Mr. ********** account remains in good standing.
